We had a great stay at the Westbury for our 12 year anniversary. The service was impeccable and the location was amazing. Location: Right next to Bond Street (Burberry on the corner). Just over five minutes walk from Oxford Circus. Room size: Although we only booked it the day before, we were treated to a free room upgrade (King size)... More

We stayed overnight when we went to the theatre. The communal areas within the hotel were very nice, however, would not describe the room as 5* level. No kettle or hot drink facilities, room and bathroom were a little tired. There was only 1 lift that was working so you sometimes had to queue for the lift in the lobby.... More

Let me start off by saying that the Westbury Mayfair is a great hotel. The location is great. If you want to enjoy the shopping and restaurants around Bond Street, then the Westbury is a great spot. The Good: The hotel is beautiful. The location is awesome. The service is great! The hotel bar (The Polo bar) was lively and... More

If you want to enjoy Bond Street then look no further than The Westbury. There are old fashioned elegance and traditional high service elements to this hotel. My friend and I had a suite which was really lovely.. My only unfulfilled wish was that I would like to have tea and coffee making facilities. Even though room service was on... More

4 Stars - Hey look , its like this ... the room service and general stay was up there with some of the best I've ever stayed in anywhere, however the there's a couple of issues that are niggling me a little. 1) The full English breakfast left me feeling a little bemused and hard done too, especially when priced... We have stayed at the Westbury for close on 20 occasions. We found a few little things that dissapointed. We booked a Junior Suite which we got. Having stayed in them before we got the feeling that it was a bit jaded looking, needs a spruce up. The Polo bar was excellent as always and we had four friends joining... More

We arrived late on a Friday evening, the hotel is very centrally located for all the shops on Bond Street and Mayfair. The checkin was smooth, the room was small and the bathroom very small. however it was pleasant. We had a room over looking the main road, but the noise was not an all an issue. Breakfast was waiter... More

I have stayed at the Westbury Mayfair over 20 nights over the last 4 or 5 years. I used to stay at the the "global-branded" hotel on Grosvenor Square. The Westbury is significantly cheaper at almost all times and in a better location. It is probably a little less "new", but the rooms are a tiny bit bigger and I... More

The Westbury is one of my favourite hotels. It has an excellent location close to the shopping in Bond Street, and excellent restaurants. The Polo Bar has a great atmosphere, and huge variety of drinks. The hotel is very beautiful, in a classic style. Rooms are very classical. Excellent service from staff WiFi is not included. In this kind of... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
