This must be the worst "five star" hotel in London that we have stayed in. We were in a King superior room but I shudder to think what it was superior to. As other reviewers have said, the room was very small, with little soundproofing. The bathroom was very cramped with little room to move. The air-conditioning was so noisy... More

This is our second visit to the Westbury, which is well situated for shopping and the theatres. The rooms are small...we had a Superior King Size room....but really we would class it as a standard double (apart from the bed). There is no complimentary water or tea/coffee making facilities in the room, which should be a must for a hotel... More

Got deal on secret hotel location via lastminute.com & was really pleased when I found out was this hotel. Fabulous location, really easy to walk to from Green Park tube, taking in all the super Bond street fashion houses, shopping heaven! Staff really friendly & helpful. Queen size room, great value for money in the heart of Mayfair. Room décor... More

We were generally very happy with the room; I don't like having to pay for internet usage or for water but this is Central London! The hotel reception desk were all very helpful and friendly and made us feel welcome. The room was comfortable, although soundproofing could be improved as we could hear the 'activities' of a couple in the... More

The hotel is well-located for shopping on Bond, Regent and Oxford Streets. It's expensive, but then what London hotel isn't. Service tended to be indifferent to cool; one did not get the feeling that guests were particularly valued. Again, this is par for the course in London. (The people in the Westbury Dublin were much nicer). The exception were the... More

Location is ideal for West End Service was friendly and efficient - reception, room service, doorman etc The room was very small - you couldn't open the fridge without banging the bed! and a bit dated (maybe we didn't get the best rooms because we booked using last minute.com) Aircon setting didn't seem to make any difference - low and... My daughter and I spent the weekend in London staying at the Westbury. Staff were very welcoming and room was excellent. My only complaint would be no tea/coffee facilities in the room but Starbucks was just three minutes away.

Noisy, noisy, noisy. And not because of the traffic - which would be fine and expected in central London - but there is no internal soundproofing so you hear the people next door chatting away and slamming their doors to their hearts' content, late into the night and/or early in the morning. It feels like a boarding house. And coming... More

This hotel is a story of Upstairs Downstairs. Downstairs looks and feels like a luxury hotel. Apart from the breakfasts - mine was slow arriving, and the staff were slow to clean up nearby tables. And my poached egg was hard boiled. And the veggie sausages were hideous. The Polo Lounge, which they describe as super-cool, isn't, although it is... More

Wonderful hotel in the centre of the West End. You can walk everywhere. Regent St. Oxford St. and Piccadilly are only a stone's throw away. Bus to Knightsbridge and Kensington easy. Comfortable room, excellent breakfast and super staff make your stay memorable. Highly recommend
