We have stayed at the Westbury before. As usual the room, amenities, breakfast and value for money were excellent. I have commented before that the wifi really ought to be complimentary and I am sure the management will eventually change this. The staff in the reception, concierge and restaurant were very friendly and helpful, as was Monika on the guest... More

We spent 3 nights at the westbury. Tiny room. The bathroom was actually nicer than the bedroom. The room itself was pretty basic - no kettle/coffee in the room, and the channels on the cable TV were rubbish. Not great soundproofing so had the displeasure of having to hear some over vigorous neighbours on a creaky bed in the next... More

If you want to stay in Mayfair I guess you would choose here but here are no other reasons to spend a fortune at this hotel. Breakfast was over £20.00 for supermarket sliced bread, Kellogs breakfast cereals and weak tea - I am amazed they dare serve such rubbish when rooms cost over £200 each. The Westbury is a dreadful... For some reason I expected more from the Westbury. Yes it is cheaper than other 5* hotels in London. But it is a 5* hotel and so one should expect quality. And in certain areas this is a quality hotel. They have a great bar, the restaurant is renowned, it is in an amazing shopping area. Yes, here it comes.... More

Booked via Lastminute 'secret hotel' deal for 5* Mayfair location. Great deal at Westbury. Staff were friendly and gave us the requested high floor quiet room at end of corridor. My wife booked for my birthday and told them so - got a lovely chocolate cake delivered to the room. Room was great and bathroom recently refurbished. Only down-side.... no... More

I have stayed at The Westbury numerous times. The rooms are ok. I find the cosy but nothing special. Bathroom is very small. However there is no where I would rather stay. I visit London often and find myself continuing to book at The Wedtbury. As far as location goes you can not get better and hotel does have a... More

Strange to read other reviews complaining - it seems to me you get what you pay for. Having stayed at Claridges and other Mayfair/Park Lane hotels at considerably higher prices I have to say the Westbury provides good value for money. Check in and out was prompt and efficient as was room service (used for breakfasts and snacks). Queensize room... More

This seems to be a four star, just ok hotel. Aimed I feel at the tourist market and item by item and service charges ratcheted up quickly without explanation. Location ideal for shopping and main areas. For eg, a tea tray was £3 but then a charge for delivery was not quoted. No big prob for me but if I... More

I have stayed at this hotel probably 30 times over the past couple of years as it is close to my London office. Nevertheless, as usual I am asked to fill in a full registration card as the check-in staff can't be bothered to look up my name in their directory. I am asked if I would like to pay... More
