Stayed a Saturday night recently. The reception service was fine and the room failry good but little niggles let it down. The TV kept swithcing to the hotels advert, the mini bar was jammed and the loo seat was loose! On check out I did mention all 3, to be informed that I should have let them know- yes, that's... I stay at this hotel pretty much every week for business and the reception staff are always so welcoming and personal. All the rooms I have stayed in are clean and well equipped and nothing is too much trouble if a fault is reported it is always dealt with promptly. They go the extra mile, last week I got an... This time I was upgraded to a business class room since last time there were a few hick ups. I was pleasently surprised to find a bottle of champagne in my room as well sent by hotel management. This time all went quiete smoothly. My only critism is for breakfast area. It is such a busy place waiters hardly follow... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback regarding your repeat stay. I am pleased that this stay was greatly enjoyed including the arrangements which were made. As you mention, the hotel is well-located due to the proximity to the underground and main shopping areas. It is disappointing the one factor where we were unable... More

We stayed one night and wished we'd booked two. We were upgraded to a business room complete with a bottle of bubbly which was a lovely surprise. The ed was firm but huge and comfy and all the facilities were perfect. Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful and the breakfast was top notch. We definitely will stay here again. If I... More

I've been to this hotel twice and both were quite great. the breakfast is amazing, the rooms sizes are quite fair although some are kind of a trick (same room type differs in sizes) so my advice is to check all rooms whenever you have the chance to do so. it has a great lobby to invite your business guests.... Stayed for 3 nights here while attending a wedding at the Home house next door. Hotel is quite dated and old. In need of refurbishments. Was not greeted or welcomed as a gold elite member. Was upgraded to Business room as a Gold Elite member but it was a room only upgrade without any benefits of the Business room. This... More

I joined my husband on his business trip to London and had an amazing time. I took the Big Bus Tour (red and blue line) and visited the London Eye, best thing to do as you get to see all of London from a birds eye view. Saw the crown jewels at the London Tower - amazing! Had tea and... More

Celebrated my wife's 27th B-Day in London had a awesome time. Before I stay in any hotel I read reviews on trip advisor like I normally do. The majority of everyone had great things to say. So I chose it. I emailed guest relations prior to us coming and informed them that it was my wife's B-day and if they... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
