A recent one night stay at the Radisson Blu provide a perfect location for my work trip. The hotel has a large entrance area but looks some what dated in decor. The business room I stayed in was a fine size and adjoining room noise was not too bad. Facilities in the hotel were good and service was okay. The... More

I stayed here because of a work conference but in the future would look for somewhere better. The rooms are shabby, dated and dirty the price is only so high because of the location however I have stayed at the Hilton Park Lane for the same price and had a much better room. I would advise that you look around... More

Booked this trip for my better half as a birthday treat, we were going to an event at Hyde park. (The who & Weller, a dream come true!). From the moment we walked through the door we were treated like royalty! All of the staff were so helpful & friendly, particularly the receptionist & bar staff. I briefly mentioned that... More

I/we stayed in this hotel many times during the past 30+ years from the time when it was still owned by SAS. It has a great position and had very good service. Over the years certain things got worse but no more than in other hotels since the mass tourism around the world started. It is largely a business hotel... More

Before booking this hotel I read about 20 of the latest mixed reviews. During my stay I found a lot of truth in those reviews both good and bad. The good: Great location within walking distance of several tourist attractions, pubs, and restaurants. Because this hotel is centrally located, you hear sirens all night and garbage trucks early in the... More

Stayed on business for one night. All staff encountered were lovely. Room well decorated and functional. Bed lovely and comfy. Issue with room service took an hour to turn up. Night manager was lovely so apologetic. Would stay again and all the staff really want to get things right.

The staff were very courteous if somewhat overstretched The hotel is now in need of refurbishment. This involves a decision further up the chain of command. The staff at the hotel cannot be criticised for an issue for which they are not responsible.

Staying in Marylebone

Neighborhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighborhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
