This hotel 'does what it says on the tin'. We came across this little hotel trawling the web,wanted a clean and inexpensive place near central London.The Anchor came up trumps! I want to qualify my review by saying I only saw the entry, the breakfast room and my own single suite... *VERY close to Golders Green Tube station *right by the #210 bus route to go to Brents Cross mall *LOADS of shops and restaurants nearby to choose from, as well as Sainsbury's for your own grocery shopping *felt completely... This hotel offers value for money. If you don't mind being out of Central London, the location is very convenient, with good bus and tube service. Management and staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small but provide a lot of amenities for the price. Only complaint is that the mattress was soft and lumpy - time for a replacement.

lovely clean place to stay with only a short bus ride to wembly,the ppl r lovely and will help in anyway, brekki wasnt the best full english would have been better,but ova all i would defo stay there again and would highly recomend it,

Avoid the room at the bottom of the garden (Room 14). It is a converted outhouse. The room, approached through a tiny lobby full of junk, is dark and smells of damp. Our accommodation in the main house was cramped but OK. Our companions took one look at the room in the shed and made rapid arrangements to stay elsewhere.
