On arrival we were told by the receptionist that we would need to see the room before checking in as most people, when they see the room then decide they do not want to stay there! We were then shown downstairs in the hotel, taken out of the fire exit back door and the receptionist then unlocked a small outside... More

This hotel was a great price for London and the location was only 5 minutes walk from Victoria coach and train stations. The place was not very clean at all, staff were unfriendly and the continental breakfast consisted of cereal or toast. The double en suite room was not much bigger than the double bed and the bathroom was a... More

Having booked in advance and agreed a check in time before 4pm, we duly travelled down to london from leeds, 5 hours on the coach, arriving at 2pm to discover a voice message on my partners phone from about 12:30pm saying our room had been given to someone else!! Extremely rude person when we phoned, no apology and would not... More

The guy at the desk was so rude that my boyfriend had to intervene and ask what the problem was. No manners. Listening to music and the reception smelt horrendous. Shower goes tepid to burning hot every few seconds which was dangerous. Bed was nice to be fair. Only stay here if it's silly cheap!

Good option if you don't want to spend lots of money and you are looking for a good position. The room is small and the toilet is like one in a ship cabin, but everything is clean. Very close to Victoria Station and it is possible to reach the city centre by walk in less than 15 minutes. Suggested if... More

Don't get me wrong, when you are paying under £40 a night for a place near Victoria station, you cannot expect much! But wow this was incredibly bad. When we got there we were led to our room, which turned out to be an out house/bunker. There was one window on which the handle was broken so I had to... More

As a person who does reviews for you I should check places before I book but I generally like to see for my self. I won't make a mistake like that again. We found the hotel ok as it was about 15 minute walk from Victoria the reason we went there. The stair carpet was in need of a good... More

Nothing good to say. Tiny, filthy rooms and the most arrogant, rude, and ignorant staff ever did I see. I'm really amazed they are allowed to stay in business with all the complaints they've gotten. And with the same complaints year after year you would think they'd care enough to try and improve. But no. And don't bother asking for... More

The bed was hard as a rock and tiny. The tv was tiny. Also I chose to pay for the wifi but could hardy get a signal from my room. I also choose to pay for a room with a personal bathroom but was extremely disappointed seeing it was the size of am airplane bathroom. The water temperature in the... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
