The guy at the desk was so rude that my boyfriend had to intervene and ask what the problem was. No manners. Listening to music and the reception smelt horrendous. Shower goes tepid to burning hot every few seconds which was dangerous. Bed was nice to be fair. Only stay here if it's silly cheap!

Good option if you don't want to spend lots of money and you are looking for a good position. The room is small and the toilet is like one in a ship cabin, but everything is clean. Very close to Victoria Station and it is possible to reach the city centre by walk in less than 15 minutes. Suggested if... More

Don't get me wrong, when you are paying under £40 a night for a place near Victoria station, you cannot expect much! But wow this was incredibly bad. When we got there we were led to our room, which turned out to be an out house/bunker. There was one window on which the handle was broken so I had to... More

As a person who does reviews for you I should check places before I book but I generally like to see for my self. I won't make a mistake like that again. We found the hotel ok as it was about 15 minute walk from Victoria the reason we went there. The stair carpet was in need of a good... More

Nothing good to say. Tiny, filthy rooms and the most arrogant, rude, and ignorant staff ever did I see. I'm really amazed they are allowed to stay in business with all the complaints they've gotten. And with the same complaints year after year you would think they'd care enough to try and improve. But no. And don't bother asking for... More

The bed was hard as a rock and tiny. The tv was tiny. Also I chose to pay for the wifi but could hardy get a signal from my room. I also choose to pay for a room with a personal bathroom but was extremely disappointed seeing it was the size of am airplane bathroom. The water temperature in the... More

Having read all the horrific reviews of this hotel I was genuinely dreading it especially as it was my finances birthday. When we arrived in Victoria the hotel is literally around the corner, perfect location for a visit to London so that part of it is fab. We got to reception and the guy there was polite, took our payment... More

I had the misfortune of staying here for one night. None of the sash windows are lockable. I stayed on the first floor and there is a balcony joining the neighbouring room. If you want to feel safe at night this is not the hotel for you as anyone could enter your room via the large sash windows. I decided... More

Tiny rooms with only a sink, bathroom in the hallway. Old dirty carpet that you didn't want to touch with your feet (we kept our shoes on all the time) the hallway smelled mold but breakfast was after all ok. Will not stay here again

On arrival to the hotel me and my partner who is of Asian decent was met by staff who were also of Asian decent with racist comments as we checked in as I am Chinese. They spoke in their mother tongue which my partner who speaks 5 languages understood every word. The staff muttered these racist comments as we made... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
