Stayed at this hotel with my husband for a week vacation. The staff are very friendly and helpful; last minute they were able to book us on a day trip tour. We had a double room, which had enough room for the two of us, and was very clean. The breakfast was good as well. It is on a busy... More

We had a very good two night stay at the Hotel, on checking in the receptionists were absolutely first rate, friendly and welcoming - our room on the sixth floor was as comfortable as expected and a very comfortable bed - bar and restaurant, the staff were delightful, lovely food and an excellent choice for at breakfast - The hotel... Stayed for a week at this hotel. We booked a deluxe (?) king room, and it was plenty large for the two of us. The bed was sizable and comfortable, better than most european hotels. The hotel was very convenient to get in and out and was in a great part of London. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Like other reviewers I made the mistake of booking a single room to save money for my company. I appreciate it is described as small but no description could cover the disappointment I felt at the tiny room I found on opening the door. It is a perfect example of a chain hotel squeezing in rooms with no consideration for... More

Dear kiwiboyLondon, We are sorry to see that you could not fully enjoy your stay with us. Our single rooms are advertised on our website as singles and they also have the bed measurement as well. As we are located in a Victorian building, there are restrictions when it comes to building works, but all our rooms fall within the... More

This is listed as a 4 star hotel and I would only give it 3 stars at best. The positives: clean, quiet, comfy beds - a double is two twin beds; good breakfast included with fantastic coffee. The negatives: very small rooms hard for two people to move around without hitting each other; bathroom is so so cramped; door to... More

Very nice hotel with great location in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to Oxford Street. The rooms are nice, the breakfast buffet is really good - great selection. The staff were really nice and helped with everything we asked. The air in the rooms could be a bit stuffy. Great with free water bottle/tea/coffee in room every day. Would... More

Nice upper middel class hotel, within walking distance of most sights in central London. The rooms are reasonably sized, are clean with nice bathrooms. Most staff are service-minded and checking in/out went smoothly. Good breakfast but a bit crowdy in restaurant. Maybe a bit pricy; £216, but for London acceptable.

Great hotel....great staff, pretty central...only 15-20 mins wall from Leicester square.... stayed here for 3 days with my girlfriend, and we love it..... My only comment is that the room is small...but we were out on the town, so it didn't matter that much!!

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and booked the small double room. We expected the room to be smaller than a double but to have a bed that was only 4ft for two adult people was ridiculous. We don't feel this was made clear when we booked. We did not get much sleep due to the size of... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
