Our first stay in a Mercure. Won't be our last as all was just right. Nice touches: chocolates and a welcoming note from the manager in the room. Bottles of water; fine quality toilettries; dressing gowns & slippers. And we had the quiet room which we had requested. Friendly staff. All in all, couldn't ask for more!

We (two adults) stayed for 3 nights. The room was a decent size for London standards, clean, modern and had air conditioning which made sleeping easier. The breakfast was pricy at 10 pounds a person but it had a large variety of everything you could imagine for breakfast served at a buffet, including waffles and muffins along with the usual... More

We stayed at the Bloomsbury for 2 nights. Front desk staff are all helpful in their power to make us happy and our stay comfortable. Our room was beautifully decorated and clean. The size of the room comfortably held a desk, chair, wardrobe and king size bed with side tables. We slept well each night and had absolutely no complaints... More

Stayed for two nights, lovely clean hotel very friendly staff. Choice of breakfast from cereal, full cooked English, continental, fruit, yoghurt. Hotel room was comfortable with everything we needed. Would chose a bigger room if I had been staying longer. On arrival quick check in , bottles of water each day was a lovely touch just what we needed on... More

Our stay in London couldn`t have been better. The hotel is perfectly located, near the British museum and with restaurants and coffee shops at a walking distance. The staff was friendly, the bed very comfortable and the room quiet.

My husband and I are seniors who stayed at the Bloomsbury for 4 days after spending 6 weeks in Italy and before taking the QM2 to New York. There was a small problem with our King room on check-in (a curtain was off the window, we found it laying on the desk) and the front desk staff did all in... More

The room was nice, but you can hear every sound from the room beside you. The location was very good and the area felt safe. The breakfast was great. Sadly the staff behaved in general impertinent, arrogant and had an overbearing attitude.
