Please do not book with this hotel. I booked two rooms here at the end of April for a very special weekend away. It was total ruined by the staff at the hotel. An apparent water leak ( which they are yet to show me any evidence despite me asking on several occasions) ment we were moved to a 'sister'... More

Be warned check out is 10 AM!!!! And staff could care less if you're sleeping after 10 AM with shouting on 'corridors'. Keys need to handed in at desk and rooms are cripplingly small. Shower was dirty. I'm shocked now that I see the rating being so high on here for such a poor and overpriced hotel - its trading... More

I had booked the hotel with Booking.com for three nights, had got a confirmation, and paid the whole stay when arriving on Sunday. There was no hot water from Sunday through Monday morning, making showering impossible. On Monday afternoon the hot water was OK, but the central heating had started making a bad noise. It was turned off leaving my... More

I needed a place to stay 3 nights in Central London, and this hotel's location is unbeatable. It is on Great Russell Street, a stone's throw from British Museum, and a 2-minute walk from Tottenham Court Road Station. But I couldn't afford the higher prices at any of the other hotels in the neighborhood. My only conditions were: an attached... More

I had a room booked here for a business trip but never got past reception. They had suffered a flood and couldn't accommodate me. They organised a room at the (fairly) nearby Tavistock Hotel so all was well, but I wonder why they couldn't have let me know in advance as a lot of time was wasted and I was... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
