I've just had a one night stay at the Cheshire with my partner. We just wanted somewhere cheap and no frills to stay near soho and this hotel fitted the bill on location and price. We checked in a couple of hours early and the receptionist found us a room that was ready (102), unfortunately on getting to the room... More

We booked for our two director's from the USA to stay in this hotel in June, it was the worst hotel we have ever booked them into, cost did not match the standard we would have expected for the price, found the staff to be rude & unhelpful, our director's only stayed there for 1 night, we had booked them... My husband and myself stayed in the hotel for 5 nights. Hotel is well located within walking distance to nearly all the attractions in London. Shopping is five minutes walk into Oxford Street. Service is good and the staff very helpful.

Stayed here for one night with work, £325 for one night. Firstly they tried to send us to another hotel as they were over booked. Then found me and my colleague rooms in their basement, no windows, complete fire hazard. Televisions not working in either rooms or the bar, the bar had nothing in it....staff were friendly but absolutely clueless... More

If I had not been jet-lagged and leaving at 7:30 the next morning for the North, I wouldn't have spent 5 minutes in this dump, much less a night. I was booked to stay there for 8 nights. Filthy bedspread, blanket, carpet and window covering. Fire extinguishers out of charge. Was prepaid, but ultimately got a refund. Pictures helped.

Terrible place, the rooms are small and dirty and some are in the basement without windows (is that legal?) The Pakistani staff and owner are rude and very unpolite, the only good feature is the location but Its not worth it at all! For the same price you can get much better! Not recommended!

I had read previous negative reviews but was pleasantly surprised upon arrival, the outside of the hotel is very nice and there were fresh flowers in the sitting room off reception, the staff were welcoming and helpful, my son and I stayed last night whilst having a trip to London to see a show, our room was ready when we... Great location. Walked everwhere in Bloomsbury, Holburn and West End. Clean enough. Overpriced. have to pay extra for wi-fi. do not eat overpriced breakfast. Terrific Cafe Klea across the street with fresh squeezed orange juice and made to order omelettes by lovely couple originally from Albania--costs much less than hotel breakfast. Room was tiny and lock was broken and got... More

A very dated hotel that requires some TLC, no tea making facilities in the room but a draw with a hair dryer... 3/4 bed with ichy pink cotton cover. Broken blinds, taped up plug sockets and a leaky bathroom. My company paid for the breakfast which lacked bowls and milk for the cereal on offer so 9.99 for a bit... More
