A dump that wouldn't attract not even a homeless had it not been for its location. Bad service, lack of hygiene and terrible smell. This was a nightmare for me. The room was very smelly and poky. The taps in the shower room was leaking and leaving a horrible stain on the floor. I was so uncomfortable that I couldnt... More

Booked this hotel for a one night stay as was visiting London and the location wasn't to far from the theatre me & my fiancé were going to. On arrival the hotel looked ok. Quickly checked in & given our room number. As soon as I opened the door I was shocked at how small the room was. A bed,... More

A guest at time of writing this review: OMG...this has to be my worst hotel experience ever . On arrival my first impression was that this place is dated and in a state of general disrepair, not at all as it appears in the online photos . Once my wife and I checked in we were shown to our room... More

What a dump. This dingy and poorly presented hotel is more like a refuse for the homeless! So the room is 4x4 sq feet and the double bed is tiny and the bedding needed changing as soon as we checked in as it was stained. On requesting water we were informed they had none only tap water. What sort of... More

I stayed for one night: in the room the heating was not working, the electricity was out every 10 minutes (at least the reception was switching it on again quickly), the water was extremely hot (impossible to have a shower), the bathtub was clogged.. The breakfast was a type of cheese and a type of ham, dry croissants and a... More

On arrival the staff were very welcoming, it's a stone's throw from Oxford Street, Soho bars, Tottenham Court Road tube and all of Central London. The lifts were not as bad as other people have implied, just quite small, but that just added to the character. They worked, what else do you want ;-). The rooms were small, but clean... More

We had to book a hotel on the day in London and with a super tight budget - as this was for work - and we stumbled across this hotel due to its vicinity to the venue that we needed to be at at silly o'clock the following morning. Checking in seemed busy and its a typical small hotel -... More

Chose this hotel based on its location. Booked a room for two and it was incredibly tight quarters. The service and accommodations were abysmal. The furnishings were in poor condition. The phone in our room didn't work and friends who called the hotel trying to reach us were frustrated as it seemed we were not receiving their messages. It was... More

Anyway...we arrived at the hotel and we weren't charge extra like i was afraid after i've read the reviews. Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
