The location is great, but it's the staff that makes this property shine. I've stayed her four times this year, and on my last visit my company travel agent made an error and it was compounded by an already confusing reservation. I got the most fantastic service from the staff, particularly Natalia and Annaise, who went above and beyond to... More

Would love to be writing a review about a lovely stay right in the centre of Leicester Square but thanks to the mismanagement of the hotel that is not the case. After arriving late in the evening due to delays with flights my colleague and I were told "Oh sorry due to a system glitch we have oversold all our... More

My husband decided to book the hotel as a treat for the marathon . I was looking forward to receiving a 4 star service and room which was reflected in the price we paid . I couldn't have been more disappointed!! Being a late marathon finisher we decided to take the champagne to the hotel . We asked if we... More

A weekend in the Center of London to catch a show, enjoy the sights and good food. The hotel is central for a visit to London, we found the rooms clean and adequate for our stay. But, we had a problem! No hot water when the towel rail is turned off, this is not a problem if you are aware... More

We booked a suite for a week. We have stayed here before because we like the location. The newly renovated lighting in our room was atrocious. It was so bright I had to wear sunglasses because my husband needed light. It was all on or all off with the exception of the bed lights and the bathroom. It made my... More

I chose this hotel for a two night stay as I thought the deluxe room looked pretty good value for a fantastic location and larger than average room size. So, perfect for a business trip. The welcome at reception was great. Professional, fast and friendly. The first room I was shown to had a beautiful view of the square, but... More

My son had bought me a voucher at christmas for a pink afternoon tea which I had been asking for for many years and I was very excited as I love everything pink. My friend and I arrived and the waiver was very obliging with choosing our teas but then we were given our sandwich and cake platter which looked... More

We stayed for one night at the Radisson Edwardian Leicester Square. The hotel is in a great central location, right on Leicester Square, ideal for theatres, and shops. The ground floor public areas are modern and well appointed. The accommodation floors are looking a little dated, but the rooms are clean, and a reasonable size for London. The upper floors... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
