The best thing about this hotel is the location - in the middle of the theatre district, close to Covent Garden, Chinatown, Leicester square, Oxford street etc. etc. The staff was friendly and service-minded, the place was clean and newly refurbished. Unfortunately, the room we had was tiny, and the bed hardly intended for two grown-ups. We had breakfast in... More

I stay at Radisson Blu hotels a lot and whenever I'm in central London this is the one I tend to stay at. Why? Well for a start the rooms are beut icily appointed, not overly done but really comfortable and mildly opulent. The restaurant is very (particularly the breakfasts which are well worth the wait) and its right on... More

We stayed at this hotel on a theatre visit . It is not that easy to see , we actually walked past it , and had to go back a few yards . In fact it is located on the mini-roundabout with the seven dials post . We were given a very friendly welcome , and directed to our room... More

Booked this hotel for one night and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to deluxe room which was definitely more spacious with a king size bed, well equipped and very comfortable . Staff friendly and helpful, location brilliant, close to. Covent Garden and theatre land . Lovely breakfast, freshly cooked. Only downside is price of bar drinks and lack of... More

Modern, stylish hotel in a perfect location on Seven Dials for the West End theatre's. Service was second to none but in an unobtrusive manner. I had a cosy double which was well appointed, bright and very nicely decorated. The room was available on arrival for an early check in and my cases were stored on my day of departure.... More

Just back from a 2 night stay at the Radisson Blue, Mercer Street, and couldn't be more impressed. We chose the hotel mainly for its location as we were going to the ballet at the Opera House, but it really did live up to the great reviews that I read about the hotel. From check in onwards, all the staff... More

Loved it, loved it, loved it. I spent 9 nights here in March with a local theatre group from Portland, adding extra nights from the nights included in my package. I upgraded to an executive room (not a suite). When I arrived, a small blip occurred--the hotel did not know of my upgrade, a small misunderstanding between the hotel and... More

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
