We had a lovely break at the Hotel excellent service - staff were all very friendly and polite and a very comfortable room. A bit busy in the evening so we couldn't get a table but breakfast was good. Although I think it would help if the same waiter was kept to the same tables as we got confused orders... More

We had a good meal here, before going to the theater. The service was effective and friendly. It was marred however, by tasteless soup. What is it with soup? It's not rocket science guys! If you dilute the soup to make it go further, the taste diminishes accordingly. It is an insult to your customers to try to sell such... More

Good little hotel in a great location in the Seven Dials of Covent Garden. Close to two tube stations and lots of restaurants pubs yet in a relatively quiet area. Rooms are small but clean and updated. The standard room is good for one person but perfectly adequate for two. The bathroom is sparkling and clean. There's a noisy pub... More

Great situation, Seven Dials just north of Covent Garden and about 3 minutes walk from the Underground station (Picadilly line). The streets and shops around have a nice feel to them, the Cambridge Theatre is literally right next door and so is a nice London pub. We enjoyed our stay; the room was nice (although we would upgrade to a... More

Lovely hotel in a prime location in London. Staff were extremely polite, friendly and helpful. Security at the hotel is good (I was a lone female traveller) without being over the top. Rooms were lovely with gorgeous bathrooms. Breakfast: gorgeous! Highly recommended, I'll definitely return.

Good location for what we wanted to see in London, comfortable room although a little expensive . The restaurant served good food although the service was below par. Reception staff helpful and efficient

Ideally placed for those doing the west end theatre/shopping/tourist thing. A well appointed hotel in the heart of Covent garden, and yet in a quiet side street. Light spacious rooms, and spotlessly clean. For London standards this hotel is excellent.

Location is great, that's it, Our room was pokey and when my wife was cut by an exploding light bulb we were told by the first aider "she's ok". This was not acceptable. Although we were finally helped by the receptionist I felt it was too little too late. The price for this hotel is for the location only.

I have recently had the privilege to enjoy this hotel's wonderful atmosphere, staff and hospitality. Having stayed in London many times in various capacities, I must say that the most recent sojourn at the Edwardian Mercer Street was one of the most comfortable ones. The front desk team has been welcoming and helpful from the beginning. Check-in, although late, was... More

We have stayed this hotel before but not since its renevation, but we need not have worried it is just as good as it alway's was if not better. We could not fault anything about this hotel starting with the staff who were all brilliant and could not do enough for you. The breakfast was excellent and a special mention... More
