We decided to stay at this hotel as a change, as we normally stay at a park plaza in London. The hotel itself is a great location being right on Leicester Square, and is a great location for getting out and about. Check in was brilliant, and the lady behind the desk was very helpful, offering maps, reservation services, transportation... More

Recently needed a central 5 star london hotel for a last minute break. Always wanted to stay here in leicester square but was never a reasonable rate when compared to other 5 stars in london. This time just booked it and while still not cheap was absolutely worth it as location is fabulous with no car or tube rides needed... More

When we arrived the staff were so frinedly and couldnt do enough for us. The luggage was taken care of. Breakfast was fine...espescially the continetal and fruit...but... More

The location is everything about this hotel! Superior rooms facing Leicester Square are spacious but the entire hotel is rather old and bath rooms small. Breakfast is extremely limited and the staff is slowly - you can skip the breakfast and have it somewhere else. However the receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

Directly outside my window, a couple of floors down, the bottle bin was collected at around 5:30am, followed by several deliveries. When I mentioned this at checkout there was not really an apology, so much as an admission of "yes, that happens sometimes"! The room was good, clean, but its grandeur has faded and now looks quite warn. The service... More

Loved this hotel! Large rooms, accommodated 4 easily and comfortably, and the location is central to everything. And the staff is exceptional!! Highly recommended after 4 nights with 2 adults, a 14 year old and 9 year old. We were worried about noise from Leicester Square, but we didn't hear a thing. Silence. You won't regret choosing this hotel.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
