This is a very touristic area and the access to Leicester Square could be difficult for taxis, especially when some movie event is happening, but this is the only negative point on this location. The hotel is really good, with big rooms, nice bathrooms and everything that you expect from a Radisson hotel. The breakfast price is too high, but... More

After arranging a trip to London for myself and my husbands 30th birthdays over Easter Bank Holiday, we booked into the Edwardian Hampshire hoping for an extra special stay. I notified the hotel that it was a joint celebration and requested extras in the room which to my dismay were not done or even acknowledged. Our stay encountered many negative... More

We had a very comfortable stay here last week for my birthday treat. We were welcomed warmly by the reception staff and given a room upgrade, which was great. As we were too early for our room to be ready, the Concierge quickly checked our bag into his store which allowed us to wander off without delay. Our room turned... More

We really liked this hotel. It was very central to everything in London - right in Leicester square and just around the corner from Trafalgar. We could walk to most everything and there were plenty of places to eat in the area. The staff was super friendly and anything we asked about they were helpful. The rooms are really unique... More

I proposed to my girlfriend during our stay in London, when I contacted the hotel a few weeks before the trip they were more than willing to help with finding a great restaurant and decorating the room for the occasion.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
