At first impression the hotel didn't look very clever at all and was somewhat run down from the outside. Nevertheless the room was very spacious and good value for money. The bathroom was tired but you don't stay somewhere for that. The bar downstairs was ok but probably not to everybody's taste as it was more a nightclub type feel.... More

I Stayed here with 2 friends for one night whilst exploring London, we checked in fine, but when we got to the room there was a Double bed and single, not the 3 singles we booked! it was no bother we went down and got one of the staff to put an extra bed in, he came up promptly and... More

stayed here to go and see the poppies at the Tower of London . Tube station ( Aldgate east ) just around the corner . very clean and towels provided . check in was easy and staff very helpful . The only criticism I have is that the breakfast was either £10.95 for a continental or £14.95 for a full... More

Booked at the last minute and got a good deal (£85 for a room that could've slept 8!) but as they say size isn't everything! Ok the location is great, round the corner from Aldgate East, and check in easy. The room spacious as said and bed comfy enough. Even the wifi was half decent and free. BUT the walls... More

Stayed here to attend an event with friends. Tube station around the corner and hotel is based very close to brick lane, mainly near all the curry houses! Reception very friendly and had no problems at all, nice bar downstairs also. Would stay here again

Now I'm not usually a complained... but when you want a hotel, you want somewhere you can get a good nights kip. Friday ..Noisy neighbours, had to call security, seriously. Sounded like they were tearing the room apart, paper thin walls. Saturday ..Club downstairs, booming music, summer with windows open, close the windows, music still thumping, floor vibrating. Fight breaks... More

We were there for 3 nights, with 3 people in our group. The rooms were clean, although the beds were NOT comfortable and there was a lot of noise from the hallways and other rooms. Location was okay, close to a subway stop, but not in a great part of town. View from our room was to the street in... More

I booked this hotel for almost a week as it is close to where I work (I work on middle of Brick Lane), and I occasionally want to lessen the affects that commuting from Hampshire daily takes on me. The hotel room had the best view over the City. Yes, it's a little noisy if you have the windows open…shutting... More

This hotel is affordable, clean and somewhat comfortable. Location wasn't so bad since it was a minute walk from Aldgate East underground which was 20-25 min from central London by tube & 7ish min to stratford station (Westfield Mall). One thing that did ruin the experience was that the guests in this hotel, and locals were loud and noisy. Made... More
