I've stayed here several times largely driven by reasonable rates. Comfortable bed. Rooms are compact & not hugely attractive but are adequate. This time I had a ground floor room which wasn't ideal as there was a parking space directly outside my window so had to have curtain shut at all times. I had some problems with wifi for iPhone.... The reception area is nice but the rest is dated and depressing. They have pod bathroom which sink of sewage. Unfortunately I'm staying in another ibis this week for work by the excel and it is equally depressing. I would not choose to book this hotel out of work. I think they should take a leaf out of the premier... More

This hotel is in a great location in the centre of Greenwich and just a few minutes walk from the tube station, the cutty sark, Greenwich park and the observatory and Greenwich market. It's a very basic hotel with no frills (it does provide tea and coffee facilities though and basic soap/shower gel) but it is very clean and appears... More

This hotel is very well located in the beautiful neighbourhood of Greenwich, London. It is located near the meridian of Greenwich, in Greenwich Park, and also near the Royal Observatory. It is thus situated in the heart of the village and offers excellent rooms and also a fantastic breakfast in the Cafe Rouge, which is just next to it. The... More

Stayed for ten days with my wife. The management of the hotel was very professional and unobtrusive. The rooms are simple but well appointed with all facilities working superbly. The location is suberb in the heart of Grenwich and close to the DLR, The beautiful King William Walk is 2 mins away and Cuttysark 5 mins.

went to a wedding in the area and decided to stay here, wish we had driven home instead... Room was on ground floor and smelt damp, looked out of window directly into car park so either we had to keep curtains shut or people could look in as passing. Noise from cars starting, or arriving was bad.. Walls paper thin... More

All in all this is a good hotel with pleasant rooms and helpful staff close to many tourist attractions. Limited parking is available on site at £13 per day but get there in good time as the public car park next door is a lot more expensive. Full breakfast is extra and is taken in the adjoining cafe rouge. Food... More

I stayed here with my other half for a weekend and it did the job nicely. Perfectly located, particularly for events at the O2 arena as the DLR station is about 2 minutes up the road and changing to the Jubilee is easy, and it's right between two major London Landmarks. Bus stops are really close to the high street,... More

We booked this hotel for a 2 night stay and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staffs were very helpful and polite; our room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is modern and very reasonably priced for London. The location was great for us. The breakfast was spot on, with everything you needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for one night. The car park gets quite busy and its a bit tight for anything larger than a Ford Focus. It costs £13 but you get 24hrs for that so not bad. The room was basic but had everything for an overnight stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, lots of padding and nice quality cotton sheets. It's a... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
