We chose the Ibis at Greenwich to be close to the O2 for Monty Python show, and to 'do' Greenwich. Excellent location, and although it is basic or standard, as others say it is absolutely fine. We ate in the adjacent Cfe Rouge on the first night of our stay, and had breakfast there two mornings. The cooked breakfast is... More

I seem to have been staying quite often at the Ibis brand when I go travelling for the simple reason that the ones I have stayed at have all been to the same standard, and I know what I am getting. Everything at the Ibis at Greenwich was to the same good standard that I had experienced elsewhere; the room... More

A great place fpr a lpng weekend in London. Handily located for the dlr though best way into town is surely the water bus. Its an ibis so the rooms are like every other ibis so comfortable but impersonal - no surprises. Excellent sound proofing so lovely quiet sleep. Note that they don't have their own restaurant but an arrangement... More

A VERY convenient hotel to visit Greenwich observatory, maritime museum and queens house. Also within walking distance (45mins) of the O2 arena. And after a big show you can wait longer than this for a taxi. The hotel is clean and efficiently run. The Cafe Rouge can provide a nice evening meal or breakfast. We found it a haven of... More

My friend and I stayed at this hotel in July when going to the O2 to see Robbie Williams. I would have to say that this was very good value for money and all the hotel staff were exceptionally friendly in their dealings with us and I noticed with all the other customers as well. It is so nice to... More

Paid £230 for two nights which is not bad for London, though we have got better deals in the past. The rooms are basic but when it's just for sleeping that's fine. Bed was a bit hard and although we had the air con on all night, it was a bit hot at times. Absolutely no frills - soap dispensers,... More

Very good hotel , we have stayed there before , however this time our room ( 213) if i remember , smelt of damp , a very strong smell , we went out to diner and left the window open, and the air con on and the smell seam to be a bit less, however it was still there. The... More

I stayed four nights at the Ibis whilst attending a conference at the University of Greenwich. It's very close to the U (which is in the Old Naval College) and to the Cutty Sark, and only a few minutes' walk from the Observatory. The area near the hotel is a lively mix of small stores, bars and restaurants such as... More

Stayed for one night. Needed location for Greenwich and the O2. Hotel was easy to find, car parking was good. Hotel is right next to the Greenwich attractions and Thames Clipper pier for the O2. Room was basic, but just fine. Bed was comfy and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast in the adjacent Café Rouge was really tasty.
