Very good value for money considering it was London over the New Year period. Although it is not directly in the centre of London, Greenwich was a lovely base to explore and we would highly recommend the area, especially Greenwich Market. Bedroom was small but expected in London, bed was very comfortable and the shower was very spacious and powerful.... More

This is a return trip to the Greenwich Ibis for us and again we cannot fault the hotel. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was very cosy and clean and looked out onto the parking area which meant it was very quiet. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and for the 3 nights we were... More

Booked for a two night weekend break at the end of January 2016. Booked on line and requested a quiet room. We were given a room on the first floor overlooking the car park and although traders were setting up their market stalls in the corner on Saturday morning, we heard nothing. Comfortable bed with two extra pillows supplied, enough... More

We stayed overnight after a trip to the O2. Staff were polite, friendly and well turned out. The room was clean with a comfortable bed, kettle with tea and coffee, a hair dryer and air conditioning. I would suggest that 2 extra pillows be supplied as a double room is likely to have two people staying. Free wifi is supplied... More

I've stayed in this hotel twice now & been impressed with both trips. The hotel is modern and the rooms are small but perfectly formed with everything you need for a short stay. Despite being just moments from the busy main drag, the hotel is beautifully peaceful and I have enjoyed a good nights sleep both times. One tip -... More

Very good atmosphere to relax away from home. Tidy and feels luxury. I will recommend it to my friends and family. A perfect hang out for couples wanting a change from home. No noise and yet located not far from main road.

I was in London to watch my Daughter play football. Very easy to find from Greenwich and Cutty Sark tube stations. Check in/out was quick and easy with the usual attempt to sell a breakfast, this was not pushed when I declined. Room was nice and clean with all the facilities you would expect to find. This is a modern... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighborhood Profile
Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
