Recently stayed at this well-maintained, quirky hotel. Located above a bustling pub but has own entrance to one side. Wandsworth Town Overground Station is right across the road and although there is no on-site car-park, parking is unrestricted on neighbouring roads on weekends. Check-in was smooth. Friendly and efficient staff. Stayed in room 14. No issues with noise and we... More

Lovely hotel pub/ extremely well located. Food delish and the rooms thankfully quiet, considering its a pub/restaurant as well. The only regret we had,was that we didn't book the restaurant for diner and there was no space left until late. I think this should be mentioned upon booking/reserving the room... In the end we got room service instead which was... More

We enjoyed an 8-night stay at the Alma, at a reasonable rate for this expensive city. An excellent full breakfast was included each day - the best we've ever had in London - and the dining room was also very good for dinner. Also included was the use of a nearby gym, which my wife reported was rather deluxe. The... More

Perfect. Quite, very nicely decorated rooms, great shower, mini bar, tea/coffee/biscuits in room, flat screen, wireless and across the street from the Wandsworth train station that connects to Waterloo and Victoria station and the tube! The breakfast (included)was amazing-no need for lunch! Connected to a nice Pub and restaurant, others in walking distance, banks, Sainsbury. We would definitely recommend this... More

Staff, rooms, pub, breakfast, location ... all marvellous. We were forced to look at places outside of the main centres because of the Olympics and it was with a small reluctance that I agreed to stay at what seemed to be just an out-of-town pub with rooms. How wrong I was ! Whilst it's an overground rail trip to get... More

My wife and I had the great pleasure of staying at the Alma Hotel in Wandsworth Town during our recent 5 day trip to the Olympic games. From the minute we arrived, we fell in love with the place. The staff were warm, friendly and extremely helpful and the accommodation was of a very high quality indeed. The rooms are... More

We landed in Londond 5am, got the trains from Heathrow and found the Alma by 7am. The staff were great and very obliging. Even though the room was not available till 2pm, they put us in the breakfast dining area, feed us with the yummiest breakfast, help us out till we could tidy up before we headed off to Wimbeldon.... We were really pleased with our choice of hotel following recommendations on TA, staying 2 nights last week as a base whilst we went to watch the tennis at Wimbledon. The Alma looks like a traditional London pub from the outside however has boutique bedrooms attached. The reception area / entrance leads off the street down a short cobbled alleyway... More

This is some of the best pub food I have ever eaten! My roast belly of pork was wonderful. My husband had fish and chips but when he saw the roast beef he wished he had gone for that. My son had the pasta which he said was very good. Great wine selection and good beers on tap. Very friendly... More
