We chose The Alma because if its boutique hotel charm and past experience. The Alma is located in the clean, accessible town of Wandsworth. Other than Wandsworth being in a Zone 2 fare area it does have a lot to offer travelers. In the end we were disappointed with The Alma and will most likely choose another hotel on our... More

Lovely Boutique hotel situated in what is quite a trendy part of Wandsworth. Well positioned opposite Wandsworth Town Main Line Station, just a few stops from Waterloo, trains really frequent. We were upgraded into a garden room which was perfect. The owners of this traditional pub have really got a great product here. They have a traditional pub serving good... More

I was also part of the wedding party over this recent weekend.Staff were very friendly and helpful. We found our air-conditioning not working, but we had also opened the window, as you do when in a hot room-----should have read the hotel book of words first---don't open the window!! Private room a great success, we were really looked after. Room... More

We were in London for my son's Wedding, this charming hotel was suggested. We had a lovely spacious room with an elegant bath/shower. As several friends and members of my family were also staying we had arranged a meal in the private dining room on the night before the wedding. The room was very pleasant ,the meal excellent, and the... More

We stayed at The Alma for a weekend in London to see friends and were very impressed. The room and decor was very boutique hotel style, the staff were very helpful and the breakfast was second to none. Would definitely recommend.

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in the Alma for two whole weeks while we were waiting for our Visas to come through and it couldn't have been a better choice. The staff are so friendly and happy to accommodate any request. The food downstairs is first rate (not to mention the bar make's the world's best... More

Just returned from a weekend break in London and stayed for two nights at the Alma. What a lovely hotel!!!! What makes this hotel so special is that it seems to have been designed with the needs of the guest as a priority. We booked a standard room with shower, the room was spotless with comfy bed and crisp cotton... More

We attended a wedding at the Alma on Sunday 17th March - yes St.Patricks day and it was an Irish/Spanish wedding! Whilst the restaurant and bars downstairs were teaming with people we were seconded in a wonderful romantic haven upstairs in the function room and had a terrific time. The food was lovely tap-pas type picky bits circulated the room... More

About a month ago we stayed at "The Alma" in Wandsworth London and thoroughly enjoyed a few days there. Inexpensive for London with very pleasant accommodation, helpful staff, superb food in restaurant and spacious bar also serving food. Very close to the centre of London - shops etc and less than 30 minutes on train with station 100 metres away.... More
