haveing arrived at this hotel we were told that there was no key to our room , rooms very scruffy , and dirty, no pluge to the bath, then woken by an early morning call at 6am no internet access. The worst hotel ever not worth the money, staff need to be sacked . not 4 star

Stayed for 1 night. The receptionist will no doubt get the gold medal in 2012 for the rudest receptionist on the planet. Room smelt of cigarette, empty bag on crisps in the cupboard etc...This hotel is everything but a "boutique hotel", best avoided.

Although in a great location, no way is it a 4* plus - it's a good three star at best. having suffered their sister hotel, Tophams, i was transferred here as an 'upgrade'. It's a tatty hotel that needs decorating, the stair carpet needs replacing as it's badly worn and probably dangerous. The room does not reflect the pictures on... More

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Our room looked nothing like the photos on the hotel website and the 'double bed' was just two singles pushed together. There was no working lift and no electricity for the entire duration of our stay; obviously not the fault of the hotel, but we were not even offered a torch. To top... More

I was a bit concerned about staying at the hotel after reading the reviews, however, my stay was perfect. I booked a single room and they gave me a suite which was very clean, everything worked and the shower was great. The sheets were clean and I slept very comfortably. All of the different staff from the afternoon I arrived... More

It's hard to describe this place and how bad it is. You have to experience it to believe it. My main gripe is with Last Minute.com, however, who had this on their site as a 'magnificent (their wording has now changed I note) 4 star on their TOP SECRET list. Well, lesson learnt I guess. After booking and finding out... More

I have to say, things didn't start very well as the room price on the internet neglected to mention the tax so instead of the quoted £68, we were charged £85. Still, for Knightsbridge that was a fair price. I made a bit of a fuss and we were upgraded to a suite, which was fine. However, the whole place... More

I tend not to pay much attention to people who moan on reviews but this is such a bad hotel that I felt the need to warn others. Just a awful hotel in every way, the reciptionist even told me that all photos of the hotel are from a sister hotel. Dont stay here if you dont have too...

Booked the room on lastminute and when we arrived were told that the hotel hadn't received confirmation as the server was down. Some other customers were also being told this. We were told we would be located to their sister hotel, Tophams in belgravia, which is apparently a 4* hotel but was so bad we booked another hotel and checked... More

Where do i start... apart from saying I along with numerous other guests never got past the reception desk, if thats what you can call it. Too scruffy dirty old birds working the desk who look like they had just been dug up issuing abuse and persisently lying about problems with bookings. The pictures of the hotel are total lies,... Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
