When we got to the hotel we were told that we had to pay £50 if we wanted our room to be cleaned. When we went in to our room it was not clean and there were cigarettes and bandages on the floor. I am working at a hotel and have gone to many hotels but I have never met... More

The price I paid (at first) for a stay in Knightsbridge was amazing and I was really looking forward to staying in what looks like a nice hotel. On arrival we were told to pay £50 to cover a 'service charge' which they 'preferred' in cash, from what I can see the service charge paid for about 20 sweets, some... More

Don't book here. The confirmation said "your booking is guaranteed and all paid for." A secret £50 "Additional fees charged by the hotel" was put on our account and demanded on arrival payable only by cash. This happens to eveybody.

I have never cared enough about any place to leave a review but I am making an exception for these guys. Went to check in to this hotel today to be told that I had to pay a £50 service charge. When I asked what it was for I was told that it was for all Expedia bookings and was... More

Stayed when visiting the winter wonderland due to its location which was superb. Pre booked and on arrival we were advised all rooms were full. Once we saw the room I realised why the receptionist mentioned they were full.. to pre warn me before a complaint was raised. The room was furnished ok but the size was tiny. We decided... More

The staff is very unprofessional. They were making inappropriate comments and asking personal questions while I was waiting at the reception desk. But what everyone needs to be aware of is that they double-charge their clients. I had paid (in full- according to my receipt) my hotel room when I arrived, and they asked me to pay it again, claiming... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
