I booked this apartments by mistake. When I tried to cancel the booking just 25 minutes after, the result was that the property charged me the first night (£129) because I cancelled the booking out of the time allowed to do so (20 minutes out...). In my opinion, you need to be a bit flexible sometimes. I've never had such... More

We've stayed a few days at this hotel and really enjoyed our stay. +Room: The room was clean, bright, quiet, really comfortable, of decent size and the bathroom impeccable. +Staff: We were also late once for the breakfast (arrived right when it was closing) and the staff was understanding and let us have our breakfast without rushing us to leave.... As I've said elsewhere, this is good value little hotel. My room was spotlessly clean, service was friendly. I left my heavy suitcase at reception so I didn't have to lug it up the stairs, which would be the only thing that might put some people off - not the place for you if you have limited mobility. Otherwise I'd... More

I've stayed at 27 several times and have always got a decent sized room. It's quiet for a street side hotel. The continental breakfast is perfectly adequate for a business stay. The bathroom fittings are high quality. The actual property is divided into two and has the usual compromises of circulation space for a town house.

Travelling with an 83 year old adult and being placed four flights up with no lift in what i can only describe as a hovel big enough for one person but they squeezed three adults in obviously to gain the additional cash! very unhelpful girl on reception called Andrea blamed us as apparently we knew what the room was like,... Small. typical London hotel: clean, with friendly staff, standard breakfast. Close to Paddington Station and Hyde Park. My wife and I lived in a small, quiet room (window overlooking the courtyard) on the top floor. The room was a kettle with the devices, which stood at an uncomfortably high-tech transparent plastic table. Bathroom small but fully equipped.

First impression was not the best due to very traditional "lobby" and super narrow hallways. Evetually our room for two was very spacious, clean and comfortable. 3rd floor but no elevator. I would prefer having breakfast somewhere else. Staff was great. Eur-UK adapters available for extra price. Iron available at the lobby. Few good restaurants nearby. Wifi worked well.
