I´ve been in this hotel in a shared room whit 5 bed. I found it strange because it seems that two people live in this room. But the bed was good, clean and a simple breakfast, very friendly administration. But do not know if I will return to this hotel.

It is an old and worn guest house however being well-maintained. The place (specially the carpet) is clean, the staff are very kind. I shared a room which has four beds with private bathroom, it is quite comfortable. The location is great, nearby are higher-ranking hotels, feel very safe.

Firstly, expect a hostel or dorm setting and you'll be fine. It's a place to lay your head not to hang out in the hotel. Clean linens, decently comfortable mattress, sink located in bedroom, as well as a decent size wardrobe are certainly all positives. It's very close to Gloucester Road and Earl's Court Station. Waitrose is around the corner... More

After a lot of searching online for an expensive hotel in London, I came across this hotel. I used to live in the area and had seen this hotel on my walks about, and saw that it was well priced. I stayed here with 2 friends, on a Saturday night. We had booked a triple room, which came to just... More

We stayed at the Curzon House in the downstairs bedroom complete with en suite. It ticked all the boxes for us, breakfast was basic but substansial. And for the location...Kensington great value for money.

Curzon house was nothing to be dissapointed about. Great value for money, and fantastic location. However we were dissapointed with the bathrooms, they were clean and quite obviously newly renovated, but private bathroom apparently means something else here. We were staying in a room on the second floor, and we had one shower shared between 3 rooms. More so, there... More

this place is simply DISGUSTING. The only good thing is the position, but apart from it there's completely nothing. The rooms are smelly, old, with old carpet on the floor. When I arrived I had to make the bed, so i saw the mattress which was completely old, smelly and full of spots! (at least 30 years old) the toilets... More

I think It is a poor hotel because there's just one shared bathroom for all the rooms and the "place where you eat" is rude and small... The rooms are quiete big... I recommend this hotel but you have to stay here not for long, like just 2 nights... It is really convenient if you want to travel the city... More

Have just stayed here for 2 nights & won't be returning! It is a cheap but not so cheerful hotel. Good bits first...location not too bad, near Gloucester Rd tube & a few local shops if needed. Bed comfy, sheets etc clean but duvet cover had no poppers! It is all quite shabby but I could see they had tried... More

I stayed in the Curzon House Hotel for a week this summer and it was a very unpleasant experience. The rooms were dirty, the toilet did not flush properly and when I complained about this the staff refused to fix it and actually were quite rude. The hotel is also located next to several building sites that are very noisy,... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
