I was a bit worried when I arrived, seeing a sign by the lift stating "IF WINDY PLEASE CLOSE WINDOWS"....... Checking into the hotel was quick - reception could def do with a make over. I was given my room key which had the biggest keyring ever on it so you had to hand it back into reception when you... More

Yes the rooms are small but what else do you expect staying in london? Small but clean with all the basics - tv and towels. 20 second walk to nearest tube - very convenient! Breakfast was a bit manic but all part of the fun, you never no who your going to end up sitting with! Cooked breakfast well worth... More

I stayed at this hotel from 4th - 7th June travelling by train from Aberdeen with my daughter in law as a treat for her, the hotel is extremely well situated just round the corner from the tube station, we were in Room 673 which was a twin bedded room but was certainly on the small side it also overlooked... Excellent location: in Bloomsbury off Russell Square, one block from tube station, two blocks from supermarket, many restaurants located very close. Couple of blocks from British Museum and Oxford Street. Rooms: clean, bedding/towels changed daily and no grungy spots in the bathroom. Please note there are no toiletries, just hand soap. No Air conditioning. Breakfast: food adequate but too busy... More

Staying at the President hotel was ideal for me as I was studying to a deadline at the uni all weekend and wanted somewhere close, clean and basic. I stayed in a single room and to my surprise it was really clean, some 3 star hotels are often quite grimy and you feel like wearing your flip flops just to... More

We stayed at the President for the 3rd time over the Bank Holiday, we like it for it's locality, the cleasnliness of the rooms, nice hot showers, good bars and restaurant, very friendly staff and the value for money. We booked it through Superbreaks, and we're going again at the end of this month. We have stayed in various hotels... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
