We have stayed here a couple of times and have found it ideal for a London break.Very central and easy access to transport but we walked to most places. The hotel is perfectly adequate and rooms clean, very pleasant bar and very well organised even though it's very busy.Staff very helpful and willing to help with any queries.Lots of places nearby to... The hotel is of the standard you'd expect, decent rooms and good staff. I found the bed too hard but that's personal preference. The breakfast didn't have the range some might want (eg. very little fruit). But the location is very good, there's good restaurants around the hotel and great tube/bus links. 15 minute walk from Euston station.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel on 11 and 12 August 2014. The location is excellent for a quick visit to London and Russel Square tube station is literally around the corner from the hotel. The room was basic but clean and that is all you need if you just want a place to sleep and not spend... More

This is a busy hotel!! Alot of groups staying here but obviously very well organised place as no waiting involved for lifts or for breakfast. We stayed here as part of a weekend theatre break and for those purposes the hotel is perfectly located. We got the tube from Kings Cross - one stop - although really we could have... More

I originally booked a 2night break in a hotel on the south bank but when I realised the British Music Exhibition was no longer in the O2, I rang Superbreaks to ask for a change of hotel. I knew I wanted to stay in this area and the agent suggested the President. She said it would be suitable for us... More

In September 2013, I spent a weekend in couple in this hotel. It was great. This hotel has a good place, really near from the middle town, about five minutes to walk to the British Museum, and 20 minutes from Big Ben. Honestly, you don't need the subway. About the hotel, the rooms are confortable, it´s not too expansive, it´s... More

This is the third time I have stayed here. The hotel is slowly being refurbished to a nice standard - only the corridors still looking a bit tired. The location is perfect for a base as it is within walking distance of all transport (1 min to tube) and close to Oxford Street. While the staff on reception and waiters... More

My daughter and I recently stayed in this hotel. We was a bit concerned after reading negative comments on here. That said the hotel was great. Only negative we had was the Breakfast. There was plenty. But no continental breakfast, no whole meal bread. I had to ask for our table cover to be changed. Apart from that all was... More

My Mum and I stayed at the President Hotel last weekend as part of a theatre break and birthday treat. We found the hotel very easily, more or less on the door step of Russell Square tube station. On arrival we were expecting to have to book our luggage in as we were too early to check in at 12:00... More
