Stayed for three days over February Half Term. In a good position as Russell Square Tube station in just around the corner, and walking for 20 minutes gets you to the Thames. the room was perfectly adequate, bed and bedding clean and tidy, although why do hotels insist on tucking the duvet into the bottom of the bed? I cannot... More

From the outside it looks like the mouldy old orange left in the fruit bowl. The rooms have had a re vamp but the towels were old and was like drying yourself with fine sand paper. There was no clock in the room and the windows are old and draughty. However the old secondary double glazing does keep the noise... More

The location of this hotel is fabulous, within walking distance of Euston station, a couple of minutes to Russell Square tube station and actually not that far to walk to lots of main attractions. We found all the staff who work there really friendly and helpful. The breakfast is nothing special, no fancy bread etc. but the cooked breakfast which... More

This is the 2 Nd time we have visited this hotel and we weren't disappointed. The service was top notch. The rooms are adequate to meet our needs and were clean, warm, and presentable. Breakfast and evening meal were enjoyable and to be honest we couldn't pick a fault. Will be making a return visit to this hotel.

I stayed here for four nights whilst my husband was an inpatient at the hospital around the corner. The room I had (no. 173) was perfect for my use although a bit tired. Good choice for breakfast, very pleasant staff - nothing has been too much trouble to accommodate me. Will return to stay here whenever we are down next.... More

Just returned from a fantastic 5 night stay at this hotel. Located just behind the Russell Square underground station made it a very easy journey every day as we toured London and the various attractions. We had a family room on the fifth floor that was very spacious. The 'requested' fridge was also there upon our arrival and extra camp... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
