The president hotel is joined to the Imperial hotel and this was our third visit . The hotel is clean and one minutes walk to russell Street tube station. Breakfasts are substantial with both continental or full english provided. staff are most helpful and friendly they work hard and nothing is too much trouble they willingly get you a taxi... More

For London, the President provides large rooms complete with large bathrooms. You get a shower over a tub, not just a shower stall. The shower pressure is great. You get some storage space in a small wardrobe, and also have a hair dryer and coffee / tea in the room. There were just two electric outlets, but enough for us... More

Hotel really easy to find. I expected to have to leave my bag behind reception until check-in time, but was amazed to be told I could check in straight away (at 11am). My room (on the first floor) would have benefited from a little redecoration, although this isn't to say it was dirty, just a bit dated. My room overlooked... More

Stayed here for 3 day London city break, with my 21 year old daughter. We drove ( she did too) straight into the city using sat nav and used NCP under hotel car park £18 per 24 hours. Easy access.Great central local 15 mins walk and you are in the buzz of Covent Garden. Felt safe. Ideal location for visiting... More

Went for an overnight break - hotel was very clean and staff were very attentive and helpful. Food in the carvery restaurant was reasonable and again the service was very good. Location was brilliant right next to Russell Square and very handy for the big bus tours. Will definitely stay again when we go back to London.

If you are looking for a good budget hotel in London this is the place to go. The hotel is well located just around the corner from Russell Square tube station. we stayed this time in one of the refurbished rooms on the fifth floor. limited tea and coffee in the rooms, as are the shampoo and soap, the rooms... The hotel was booked for me by my company and was competitively priced. The location is within walking distance from Euston with easy access to Central London via Russell Square Tube Station. On a positive - the room was clean with hot water and a good shower. Disappointingly, the electric trouser press did not work - neither did the TV... More

Limited tea and coffee available in room, hairdrier, clean facilities. Mattress a bit firm,no air con, but windows opened wide. Side room reasonably quiet on 5 the floor, though noise early morning and building site opposite. Breakfast buffet and good value, though unfortunate lack of communication with largely international restaurant staff. Asked for tea refill, got coffee despite saying 'tea' twice, but I know how thankless... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
