Overall its good value for a hotel in this part of town with excellent bus and tube travel connections and 3 mainline stations not far away. If you're prepared to walk up to half an hour there's loads of places to visit and a wide variety of eating and drinking spots.

Just had a weekend in the President, location great ,just a short walk from tourist attractions, staff are friendly and polite, the hotel is clean and seems well maintained. The rooms were clean but basic, the beds a little hard, but the showers!!....so powerful, soothed aching muscles just under the jets, lovely,it's the second time staying here and would happily recomend it,and I would return.

Extremely efficient check in by friendly, helpfull staff. Room was warm, comfortable, very clean & modern. Facilities were excellent, atrium bar was stylish, comfortable & reasonably priced. Breakfast was self service but nevertheless good. The only downside was the noise of london traffic.

I have stayed at the President Hotel in Russell Square on a number of occasions. The location is great as it is within walking distance of Euston, Kings Cross and there is the underground station. The hotel is part of the Imperial Hotels Group and is adequate for a business trip. Clean enough and comfortable enough. As expected the rooms... More

We stayed for 2 nights at the president as part of a show deal. The location is fantastic and easy accessible from the tube. The rooms are small and are equipped ok, the bar is ok and not too expensive for London. If you get a meal as part of the deal I'd give it a swerve. The food is... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
