I am here on a business trip and i find this hotel not so comfortable. Internet is free but slow and not guaranteed in the room. No pay option available. No iron in the room. Only soap, no shampoo. No iron iron in the room. Maybe for turism if there is a discuonted price. The area aruon here is nice... More

Spent last weekend at this hotel on a theatre break. The hotel was ok, room on the 6th floor quite small but looked like it had been recently refurbished. Breakfast was very busy with people waiting a long time to be allocated a table, food ok but chef needs to learn how to cook eggs - both fried and poached... More

Very enjoyable 2 night stay , all staff pleasant , helpful and courteous . For a budget hotel , facilities very acceptable ,and breakfasting was so well organised considering the amount of people catered for . Underground station just around the corner , and buses running frequently to all places of interest . My friend and I will stay at... More

When checking in was told that we had to pay for our daughters breakfast..we booked triple room with breakfast..reception staff VERY rude when explaining. On arrival at room found three single beds - ok can live with that - but when phoning reception to ask for WI-FI connection told had to go to the lobby - in our brochure it... More

Although the price is high for European standards, it is relatively cheap for London. The wireless signal in the room was sometimes not enough to work, something problematic in business travels, but the wireless on the lobby worked good and it was always enough place to sit down with the laptop. Breakfast was abundant, but mostly based on pork meat... More

Nicely located just off Russell Square, this hotel has cosy clean rooms although the woodwork requires rubbing down and varnishing. There is not a lot of storage space and only six hangers but adequate for short stays. The televisions are small and there isn’t a wide range of channels and no channel guide. The bathrooms have showers over baths that... More

I had heard of the hotel being renovated and therefore working floor by floor. I requested floor 7 before my visit and was this was offered on my arrival. Room was newly furnished, clean basic furniture, nearly wallpapered, painted etc, flat screen TV. Walk in shower instead of bath which I was happy with (although I do like my baths).... More

I have stayed here a number of times in the past, but not in the last 4 years. I only stayed 1 night this time. The improved resturant area looks contemporary now rather than the very dated one that has been replaced. Although I could not find any yoghurt in the morning the rest of the food looked good. I... Although we appreciated the service at this hotel, we would not stay here again. The room was old and very cold (the windows let in a lot of cool air and were not well insulated!) There was no shampoo and conditioner left for showering. If we needed to use the hairdryer we needed to go to the front desk and... More
