Booked a 2 night stay for 4 adults. Arrived Wednesday 26th August 2015. Checked in early and staff were very accommodating. allowed us to check in and take our luggage to our rooms so that we could begin enjoying London early. Rooms were adequately sized with everything we need for our city break (the towels were spotlessly clean but could... More

The hotel is in a good location and very near to the tube station. Euston station is a 10 minute walk. I think the primary reason to stay at this hotel would be for its location and maybe the lower price to stay here. I would describe my experience at this hotel as rather underwhelming and disappointing. We stayed for... More

good location, rooms were pleasant great budget hotel but if you don't like fish do not go downstairs of a morning! Can't really comment on breakfast as the smell.of fish put me off so didn't bother. The carvery meal the night before was not brilliant i would advise if you have to pay walk away and spend elsewhere. We will... More

Goods points, good location, staff really good. Bad points, room need upgrading, no deposit boxes in rooms, have to use next door hotel, with only access from 9am to 6.30pm. Really bad point was no iron available in any rooms. You have to take your cloths to a single ironing room with one iron and a dirty ironing board in... More

We first discovered the President when we decided to stay in London for last new year. We chose it for price and its convenient location to all the main attractions in London. We like walking so happily walked right down to Westminster from the hotel but the tube is just round the corner for those less keen walkers. Do not... More

We visited her in May 2015 and gave it another try in August 2015. It was much improved. The reception staff were much more helpful and generally understood our requests: most of them are foreign nationals and their grasp of the English language is basic. This can be a little annoying when you are trying to ask a relatively simple... More

The hotel is situated at the very heart of London, within a couple of minutes' walking distance of Russell Square tube station on the Piccadilly line - allowing one to come directly from Heathrow without having to change trains or negotiate stairs at underground stations. It is also extremely close to the British Museum, and a mere twenty-minute leisurely walk... More

We were in London for the night to attend a party, main priority was location at a reasonable price. The hotel delivered on this front as Russell Square was very convenient and it was affordable. Room was pretty dated and small but it was perfectly clean. There was scaffolding up covering the windows when we stayed there which was a... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
