Location, location, location. The Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is so well located one couldn't ask for better. Not just because you look over one of the most beautiful urban parks in the world but there is a metro stop a few paces away and SO many shops and restaurants within a short walk. Harvey Nichols and their wonderful 5th floor... More

I use the word as verb because the staff at this hotel will go the extra mile. Coming to the airport with a forgotten computer, assigning the same room each time, allowing early check in and finding space at Heston BLumenthal when there is none, all are the Mandarin and its' staff making the guest come first. It is one... More

I spent four nights at this hotel recently. I was Ill for one of the days and the hotel was incredibly helpful and took great care of me. The hotel has one of the best spas in London, the restaurant downstairs is top quality. I have stayed here many times and the staff are friendly and know me by name.... More

Whatever size room you get, just be kind and gracious and management will do their bes tto try to please you. If there was no robe,it was a housekeeing oversight. Ask for help! The service is impeccable! When we asked for an upgrade and none was available that day, they provided one the next day! When they moved us before... More

The hotel has the best location for shopping but the rooms are very old, the decoration is very old, the bed cover had spots and gave you the impression that it was not too clean, the entrance door of the room don't keep the noise out of the room and that's why I had problems to sleep when some other guests...
