From the outside a simply stunning hotel! Placed in a perfect location in the centre of Knightsbridge. Rooms are very pleasant, only slight niggle is they are slightly dated. Spa is wonderful!! The pool is beautiful and the gym is all top notch. From the doorman to the rooms service staff, everyone was very attentive and professional. A fantastic stay.

From the moment I walked in to the Mandarin Oriental in London as I walked up the stairs, the was a large chair that looked like a throne. Sitting on that Throne was one of the coolest looking dues I ever saw. I did not recognize him. I checked in. and went to me room that was a very good... More

This is what a hotel experience should be. Every aspect of your stay is superb. The staff works effortlessly to insure every need no matter how large or small is met. Special kudos to Nigel and the concierge staff for efforts above and beyond any expectation. Can not wait until our next visit there. Location also can not be beat

This hotel was the best hotel I've stayed in, in London. With the price range you would expect standards to be high but I've also stayed at the Dorchester (which the staff weren't friendly and very judgemental) I think for me that's what makes your stay, the staff, if they are rude then it can spoil your whole trip. At... More

Would not go back here again, only to use the spa. The bar is average, the breakfast woeful. I wanted fried eggs, without the top being snotty. Sent the eggs back 4 times, the last time - the fifth- they turned up burn't around the edges. The bacon was like cardboard. Something you would expect in a motorway cafe, that... More

fabulous stay. The hotel service is incredible. The only down side is that the hotel is very dated. They need to quickly refurbish all the rooms as the carpets curtains etc are quite old. The service more or less compensates for the age of the hotel.

The hotel as stunning from the outside as it is on the inside. We reserved a Knightsbridge room and had a gorgeous balcony Knightsbridge and the room was splendid. The bathroom and bathtub were exquisite and the room was absolutely stunning. The hotel is a bit expensive, especially travelling as an American, but it is definitely worth the splurge. The... More

Excellent location close to Hyde Park Corner. Traditional decor and nice sized rooms. Classy yet updated at the same time. Good service across the board. Variety of dining options with three very nice and different bars. Expensive but worth the price.

My family and I have visited the Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park many times now, it's always our choice while staying in London each December. The lobby is wonderful and welcoming as are every single on of the staff. The rooms are beautiful, my personal favourite is the Knightsbridge Suites as the view over the bustling city below, Harvey Nichols opposite... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
