Let me first say that I've traveled around the world to many different countries. I'm not histrionic. I'm not a xenophobe or germophobe. This place is my number one worst experience! Overpriced dump! Don't believe the hype about photo shoots and models here. They are even tacky enough to have some 1980's exotic cars out front under covers. What a... More

I'm not sure what some of the reviews on here were expecting exactly, but we thought the place was amazing!! Our room WAS small, sure, but for the price in that location in London, who cares? We're on vacation! We're not spending our time hanging out in hotel rooms! The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and the room... More

The building, from outside, looks much like any other on the street. Inside, however, is wicked; every room is different, the décor is amazing, each item of furniture, rug, lightshade and knick-knack has been selected and positioned with flare. My Dad stayed in the Monochrome Marilyn room, it looked awesome but the bed was a little short for the ol'... More

After reading the reviews I was more than apprehensive about staying in this hotel but have to say was pleasantly surprised. You will never get large rooms in London unless you pay through the nose so don't book if you think you'll get a large palatial suite, however the room was clean and linens spotless, the manager needs a little... if you're after a comfy pillow, huge breakfast buffet and lots of natural light.. you should probably move on. But if you're wanting a weirdly eccentric crazy little hotel then this is your spot. Yes our bed was hard as hell and the duvet and mattress had seen better days, but I was there to experience london, all sides of... More

This hotel is the dirtiest grubbiest hotel if you can call it a hotel. I would never recommend this place to anyone you would be better saving your money and spooning a tramp on the high street. By far my worst experience ever in a hotel. Terrible service too

We booked this cheap (less than £100) for a twin room on a Friday at bank holiday, but then we read the reviews. We almost cancelled, but then just decided to go with it. I phoned the hotel before hand to see which room we had been allocated, but got told that we'd find out when we got there. I... More

I saw the sketchy reviews but decided to go with it nonetheless cause I thought the pictures of the rooms seemed so different and "English Eccentric" I thought we'd give it a whirl. Whoops! Let's start with the beginning. 1) arrived from SF after long day traveling to Heathrow, fam of 4, around 8 pm, ergo, not much game-day choice... More

Looked at a few rooms before I decided on the best of a bad lot. My room was filthy, couldn't wait to get out of it every day. Dark Dingy - Bed sheets had hairs on them - had to go out and buy sheet and pillowcases so I could sleep there. I have stayed in back packer places in... More
