We spent 7 nights at the Covent Garden Hotel for a family vacation (with two girls ages 13 and 9). We had two rooms that were organized as a suite (rooms 110 and 111). The rooms were amazing...very clean, bright and great bathrooms. Also, enough closet space! Breakfast was delicious with great service. Location was perfect for easy walking to... More

Had a one night stop in London on our return from 2 weeks in southern Europe. My wife selected this based on her experience with the Firmdale hotel she stayed in while in NYC. Everything about this short stay was perfect - the fast checkin, upgraded room, beds to die for, great shower, honor bar on 2nd level with comfortable... More

This is a small boutique hotel right in the heart of the city, a vibrant area close to Covent Garden & the theatres. The rooms were spacious & the service excellent. The hotel has a bar/brasserie on the ground floor which is very good. The food & wine were good quality - lunch & dinner - & again the service was attentive... More

There are not enough superlatives for this boutique hotel. The staff is incredibly efficient, conscientious, friendly and very helpful. I always received great recommendations, and they knew my name very soon after checkin. It feels like a family in many ways. The breakfast is delicious, and I very much enjoyed the food and beverages. The rooms are open, nice, and... More

I had the pleasure, more like the honor to spend 8 days at the Covent Garden Hotel . I have been to London many times and always enjoyed myself , but staying at the Covent Garden Hotel put a whole new flair to London. Imagine a small boutique hotel in the theatre district (in fact we walked to 3 shows)... More

My family had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The area is incredible and within walking distance not only to numerous shopping, markets, and restaurants but also a short stroll to The British Museum, Soho, Mayfair, etc. You could use this hotel as a home base easily for all your London exploring and eating. You walk out of this... More

We visited The Covent Garden Hotel for Sunday Bruch at the weekend, which was delicious, followed by a screening of an Audrey Hepburn film, Sabrina, part of the hotel's Audrey Hepburn season, in the hotel's private cinema. It was very pleasant way to spend a Sunday, and exceptionally good value, particularly as the price also included tickets to the National... More

We booked our deluxe room for one night to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary. The Covent Garden Hotel was the perfect choice for a really special occasion! We were greeted by the wonderful reception staff and although arriving over five hours before check in we were told that our room was ready ( we just expected to drop our bags)!... More

I am reviewing the Covent Garden again, because it continues to impress in every way possible. The Firmdale group continues to set the standard by which most other luxury properties fail - there is an ineffable, discreet, confident competence to every staff interaction which puts one truly at ease. We spent 8 nights here and had great service across the... More

We got married at the Covent Garden Hotel in May. We had the most amazing time, it actually surpassed my expectations. We had an events co-ordinator allocated to us in the lead up to the wedding and this was great and then the week before we were handed over to the hotel. The staff at the hotel are fabulous and... Staying in Covent Garden

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
