I have just returned from the most enjoyable weekend stay at The Covent Garden Hotel. I was there as a guest of a friend to celebrate her birthday and the staff at the hotel made the whole event extremely special. I have stayed at many hotels around the world but none have been as welcoming as this. The staff were... More

Another brilliant weekend at the great CGH. All of the firmdales are great but we love this one very much, the lounge area is so nice to take time out in a busy town. We had the four poster room and it was wonderful, only wish would have been so for larger bathroom but hey it's me being picky You... More

Absolutely amazing Hotel! Lovely and friendly staff with smile. Everyone so helpful. I've been here with my boyfriend for an afternoon tea and we've experienced amazing service who care about every detail :) Selection of sandwiches was great, all delicious, same about selection of cakes but the most delicious were scones... warm...fresh, soft and with great homemade jams... although my... Lovely hotel. Room was fine as was the bathroom. Bar/ dining room a bit small and cramped, tables terribly close together. The food though was super: both the tapas and breakfast were delicious Wonderful location. What makes the hotel stand out though is the excellent service. Every member of staff we met went the extra mile which was so appreciated.... More

My friend and I stopped in the hotel bar here as we were a bit early for a meal we had booked elsewhere. The waiting staff were so friendly and helpful and the venue is lovely, comfortable and classy. The cocktails were pricey (well hotel prices I suppose) but they were SO lovely, the waitress was very helpful when we... More

Oh my days, what a super find in the heart of the area of London where most of the action is taking place. We decided to meet family and friends for drinks prior to going to the Royal Opera House. Feeling peckish we enquired if they offered light bites and were immediately shown two menu. We could choose for the... More

I stayed here for a business trip and was delighted by the quality of this charming hotel in the centre of London. The room I had was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast has a wide choice and is very good. The Library on the first floor is a nice touch with its fire and honesty bar. The... More

Best place you can think about for winter break in London and definitely Nr1 hotel in my personal rating. It starts from location - up to 10 minutes walk from dozens of prime London attractions and still with a feeling of quite side street, cozy and not crowded. The only problem is that you don't want to leave the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a week over the Christmas holiday and absolutely love the charm and detail of the place. Our room was huge! We had just booked one of the hotel's cheaper rooms but it turned out that it had been renovated (we were told that the renovations had been finished a day or... More

A fantastic Hotel, with the most excellent service, food, and room. We were greeted by the reception staff and made most welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a Sunday arrival, and the package included a most beautiful breakfast, served in the restaurant. Bar meals are available at any... More

Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
