This hotel works really well as a business hotel as it is very central to get to both ends of the City in a timely manner. It also has very comfortable beds and excellent facilities. I'm sure it also works very well for leisure as it is so close to all the action (theatreland, soho, Chinatown etc). Great breakfast too... More

Here with family for two nights and we chose the CGH as we love Firmdale hotels. Did not disappoint and is my new fave. Boutique and small but beautiful, it's in a great spot for stepping out on to the pavement into the heart of London. Staff so friendly and helpful. Our room was typically Kit Kemp style with big... What do i mean by ok price wise? This hotel is located on a super cool street in seven dials / Covent Garden. Its as good as it gets. The hotel is 5 star, uber cool and definitely hip so you should expect to pay london prices and then some. However my bill for two nights room only with a... More

My daughter and I went here today and have to say, I've never had such a fabulous afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble and they even made a mini birthday cake when I told them that's why we were there. I would highly recommend and will certainly be returning. Thank you all for your care and attention. Dianne and... More

We spent 7 nights at the Covent Garden Hotel for a family vacation (with two girls ages 13 and 9). We had two rooms that were organized as a suite (rooms 110 and 111). The rooms were amazing...very clean, bright and great bathrooms. Also, enough closet space! Breakfast was delicious with great service. Location was perfect for easy walking to... More

Had a one night stop in London on our return from 2 weeks in southern Europe. My wife selected this based on her experience with the Firmdale hotel she stayed in while in NYC. Everything about this short stay was perfect - the fast checkin, upgraded room, beds to die for, great shower, honor bar on 2nd level with comfortable... More

This is a small boutique hotel right in the heart of the city, a vibrant area close to Covent Garden & the theatres. The rooms were spacious & the service excellent. The hotel has a bar/brasserie on the ground floor which is very good. The food & wine were good quality - lunch & dinner - & again the service was attentive... More

There are not enough superlatives for this boutique hotel. The staff is incredibly efficient, conscientious, friendly and very helpful. I always received great recommendations, and they knew my name very soon after checkin. It feels like a family in many ways. The breakfast is delicious, and I very much enjoyed the food and beverages. The rooms are open, nice, and... More

I had the pleasure, more like the honor to spend 8 days at the Covent Garden Hotel . I have been to London many times and always enjoyed myself , but staying at the Covent Garden Hotel put a whole new flair to London. Imagine a small boutique hotel in the theatre district (in fact we walked to 3 shows)... More

My family had the most amazing stay at this hotel. The area is incredible and within walking distance not only to numerous shopping, markets, and restaurants but also a short stroll to The British Museum, Soho, Mayfair, etc. You could use this hotel as a home base easily for all your London exploring and eating. You walk out of this... More

Staying in Covent Garden

Neighborhood Profile
Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
