Oh my days, what a super find in the heart of the area of London where most of the action is taking place. We decided to meet family and friends for drinks prior to going to the Royal Opera House. Feeling peckish we enquired if they offered light bites and were immediately shown two menu. We could choose for the... More

I stayed here for a business trip and was delighted by the quality of this charming hotel in the centre of London. The room I had was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast has a wide choice and is very good. The Library on the first floor is a nice touch with its fire and honesty bar. The... More

Best place you can think about for winter break in London and definitely Nr1 hotel in my personal rating. It starts from location - up to 10 minutes walk from dozens of prime London attractions and still with a feeling of quite side street, cozy and not crowded. The only problem is that you don't want to leave the hotel... More

My husband and I stayed at the hotel for a week over the Christmas holiday and absolutely love the charm and detail of the place. Our room was huge! We had just booked one of the hotel's cheaper rooms but it turned out that it had been renovated (we were told that the renovations had been finished a day or... More

A fantastic Hotel, with the most excellent service, food, and room. We were greeted by the reception staff and made most welcome from the time we arrived to the time we left. Nothing was too much trouble. We booked a Sunday arrival, and the package included a most beautiful breakfast, served in the restaurant. Bar meals are available at any... More

Everything about this property is wonderful. Wonderful breakfast or tea outside, the lounge upstairs. I would have given it 5 stars but the rooms are quite small. highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Covent Gardens.

Very close to tottenham court road and leicester sq stations. We stayed in the Four Poster room, which looked lovely, was very clean, and had a view onto the street (strangely there was a window that looked into another room though...). The only truly annoying thing was that for a room that was quite expensive per night, had a very... More

The hotel exceeds expectations and is convenient for so many places. The staff are so friendly and helpful, our room was excellent and throroughly enjoyed the food. We would definately go back again as there is nothing to fault in any way.

It is really a 5 star hotel. It is not huge hotel, for me a great quality. Very well decorated, very comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, great breakfast, fantastic location (nearby many other great restaurant options and shops, walking distance for Picadilly Circus and British Museum). Concierge service was perfect for other restaurant reservations and theater tickets for the same night.... More

Our stay in London was the last stop of a White Chirstmas holiday that took us to many different parts of Europe, the U.S and then London as the last stop to visit my husbands family and enjoy all of the fabulous abundance of galleries in this wonderful city. As returning Firmdale guests and not your average travellers we look... More

Covent Garden
Whether you're headed here to check out the multitude of shops, theaters, cafes, pubs, and restaurants, or simply to be among the multitude of people who pass through this pretty part of town, you'll love soaking up the festive and historic atmosphere in and around Covent Garden. Even if you don't have tickets to the opera or a show at one of the many famous theaters here, don't be surprised if find yourself captivated by some impromptu act of a street performer wowing the crowds in Covent Garden's Piazza. If you do have tickets, you'll be pleased to note that many of the local eateries accommodate theatergoers with prix fixe menus, early dinners, and later than usual opening hours.
