What a fantastic stay. The staff were all amazing, especially Sabina at the lobby bar. The drinks were beautiful and they brought my daughter a bubbling cauldron of chocolate ala Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Steps from Covent Garden and gReat restaurants. We stayed in a junior suite on the corner and it was a beautiful room. This will be... More

Located next to Covent Garden this hotel is in walking distance of theatre land and Covent Garden The suite we occupied was spacious and comfortable. We ate afternoon tea and had one breakfast at the hotel, everything was lovely and the service was very good Drinks in the residents lounge were varied, however, one evening the service was very slow... My friend and I decided to bring our two children for the Charlie and the chocolate factory afternoon tea. We had been before and it had been very good. We arrived and were shown upstairs. No one offered to take our coats so these were stored behind our table. For children, this was meant to be a special event. The... More

We booked the Charlie and The Chocolate Factory afternoon Tea a few months ago and were really looking forward to it. We have had afternoon tea in several top London Hotels and thought this unique twist would be fun. We were greeted and sat down very quickly, the first table we were sat at was right in front of the... More

I stayed here with a colleague for one night. From the moment we approached reception the service was fantastic. The receptionist explained about all the amenities and escorted us to the lift. She then arranged for tea/coffee tray to be sent up, this included fresh milk. The room was great (we had been upgraded when we arrived) although rather warm.... More

Stayed here for two nights, all staff very happy and helpful. Room being checked when we arrived early. Had the best coffee ever, whilst waiting for room. Room itself lovely, although small. Overlooked the road but no road noise at all. The only noise was from the plumbing or something, which we couldn't make out where it was coming from.... More

Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Aldwych for making our stay so wonderful. The staff were warm and welcoming and really made our stay a memorable one. It was a shame that we didn't get chance to use all the amazing facilities but at least we had time to enjoy a most delicious breakfast!

I have stayed at One Aldwych on two occasions and both stays have been enchanting. The personnel is truly oustanding: extremely courteous, helpful, and efficient. The rooms are very comfortable and super clean. Highest level of service that i have experienced, without the snobbiness that comes with many comparable hotels. I highly recommend it.

We had the pleasure staying here for our Christmas break for the family. We stayed in suite 300, two separate bedrooms and a living area with a bed also a kitchenette. Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
