In it's category, I don't think you can't find better than The Dorchester. Extreme luxury, perfect service, top quality and very good location. Off course, this is a top end hotel with top end prices, but the value for money ratio is extremely good. If you want a once in a lifetime experience, you should spoil yourself with a stay... More

My first experience of Afternoon Tea was at this spectacular hotel. I went with two friends and received a faultless treatment from start to finish. We were spoiled with the selection of sandwiches, teas, pastries and cakes that were included in the Laurent Perrier afternoon tea, which we enjoyed with a glass of the Rose champagne. Service was exceptional with... More

The Dorchester Park lane London. Truly one of the greatest luxury hotels in the world. My parents would take me there as a child & my love of this fine old establishment has never waned. Situated in the center of London in Mayfair & not to be missed. If it is a little to expensive for your special trip at... More

Four of us had afternoon tea in the beautiful Dorchester Hotel, but there were some issues that rather spoiled the overall experience. The food was splendid, tasty and plentiful, and the surroundings were beautiful. Initially, we were seated at a large table and then were asked to move as staff had seated us at the wrong table. Mistakes such as... More

Lunch deal of 3-course dinner and a glass of champange. Everything was absolutely brilliant and well worth it. The menu choice on the meal deal were limited, but the price was so much more affordable than the main menu. All the food was cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The service from all the staff we encountered was absolutely brillaint.... More

Stayed in this luxurious property for the first time in London for my 5 days business trip in May. The booking experience was fairly good, used the property website which provides clear information on the room types, sizes etc. It also has special fairs/promotions. Check-in experience was shockingly negative: After arriving early in the morning (around 9 am) we we... More

I work for a large international company and we had booked an event here, after having the date confirmed the hotel came back to us to say they had someone else interested in this date. When we confirmed that our event was going ahead as previously booked, they withdrew the date from us. Responses took a few weeks and we... More

The whole experience was marvellous from beginning to end.Excellent service, great food, tasty sandwiches and cakes to die for. My friend and I could not give a high enough rating. Although the Promenade restaurant was busy the atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. We were looked after by Paco and the rest of the very attentive team.Brilliant and can't wait to return

Staff are wonderful. Nothing is to much trouble. The hotel is updating some of the rooms but the workers are quiet and friendly. The room is spacious and quiet and very clean. The hotels bar is lovely and again the staff are welcoming and friendly. We have had a wonderful stay and I would definitely recommend this hotel

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
