We spent two nights at the Beaufort and had a very pleasant stay. Great location and easy access to most touristic places. Excellent service, very helpful and nice people. We unfortunately missed teatime but could enjoy few drinks in the lounge in the evening. In a nutshell, we strongly recommend the Beaufort hotel.

This small hotel on a quiet residential street just near Harrods and walking distance to Victoria Albert, Sloanes Square etc is a jewel. One walks up the steps and feels immediately at home. The staff is welcoming and solicitous. Wonderful small touches such as an open bar, complementary coffee or tea brought to your room differentiate it from the larger... More

Booked this last minute as wanted somewhere at a reasonable price near Harrods and it doesn't get much better than this (5 mins walk away max). The Beaufort is a small hotel (perhaps a high end B and B describes it better) that doesn't have its own restaurant, but you can order from local restaurants and have this served in... More

I stayed for the second time at Beaufort Hotel and found it every bit as charming as I remembered. Traveling alone this time, I had a single room. It was small but not cramped, and it provided all the comforts I expected. But the star of the Beaufort Hotel is its staff. The service was not only efficient but also... More

Have by now stopped counting how many times we've stayed at the Beaufort. And have long ago stopped looking for any other place to stay in London. I love everything about this hotel (well, not the elevator!) Our London home.

Booked through Lastminute.com as a 4 star Top Secret hotel but disappointed as not to previous similar standards that we have experienced through this offer. Good central location close to all attractions in Knightsbridge (5 mins walk from Harrods) and excellent attentive staff but the rooms were very small with no air conditioning and there was a tiny lift that... I have stayed here before, several years ago. I remembered the Beaufort Hotel fondly and was thrilled to see that it continues to exceed my expectations. The location couldn't be better. Shopping galore right outside the door. But the real magic begins when you step through its front door. Cream tea is offered without charge, with fresh scones still warm... More

3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2014

I was allocated room 4 on the ground floor & it was very quiet clean & comfortable. It has been stylishly updated in last 5 or so years but really needs maintenance (scuffed paintwork, stains on lampshades & walls). The room was small but not cramped & while the mattress was a bit wobbly, I had great night's sleep. Lovely... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
