My husband and I stayed at the Beaufort Hotel and it was so lovely, it was worth writing this review. Where in London can you park your car outside the Hotel? We were met by a friendly porter who accompanied us to the small but inviting reception area. The receptionist smiled and explained about the free bar and afternoon tea... More

We stayed for four nights in the end of January in room 16. Only downside was the freezing weather outside :) The Hotel is as quiet as it gets in London (situated in a quiet street close to Harrods), and the complimentary bar is excellent. After a long and chilling walk outside nothing beats the complimentary afternoon cream tea, it... More

I have been staying at the Beaufort for over 12 years, I'm amazed that I've never thought of reviewing it. Its friendly, service is amazing, The position you would find hard to match. Harrods 2mins walk, Harvey Nicholls 3mins, over 50 restaurants within 5-7 mins walk. The Victoria & Albert and The Natural History Museum, the Royal Albert Hall all... More

This wasn't perfect but I really enjoyed my stay here - the good massively outweighed the few minor glitches. The room was hot - good I suppose in February - but the air con didn't seem able to handle it; the shower power was weak and as this once diverted was also the bath feed it took a long time... More

If you are going shopping at Harrods and want to stay around the hotel having a cream tea in the afternoon this might be a pleasant place to stay. Location is perfect and it is nicely decorated. But having read all the positive reviews I was disappointed. My room was tiny, without even an armchair. I tried sitting in the... More

Dear Gary Evans, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that we did not meet your expectation on this occasion. We offer a variety of room categories and although all of our suites are larger than the average hotel room size, it would appear you require a much larger room and would therefore suggest you perhaps book one of... I came there for a shopping weekend. It was exquisite : Nice and quiet area, very well situated in the middle of knightsbridge. With Harrods just next to it. Close and easy access to the underground. You will enjoy an Impeccable service, spacious and well equiped rooms and a peaceful atmosphere. I, personnally, will come back.

A heavenly place toi return to at the end of a busy day -whether work or pleasure. Courteous and discreet staff always on hand -clean and warm room and the most comfortable hotel bed I've slept in for a long time. Time didn;t allow me to enjoy all the Baufort offers but I shall return on my next business trip... More

a beautiful boutique hotel in a fabulous location, around 3 blocks from Harrods and close to great restaruants, shopping, museums and a great walk from Piccadilly. The rooms are on the small side, as is to be expected from an old property, but they are nicely appointed and totally comfortable. The service is impeccable; nothing is too difficult for the... What a find! This hotel is a must if your visiting London! Lovely clean room, really comfy bed. Big bathroom with slippers and robes. The staff were very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, there was always someone on hand 24/7 . The cream tea served between 3 and 5 is too die for! Warm scones with little pots of... More

We arrived to a calm space, were upgraded to a junior suite on arrival (what a treat!) and walked into a room with soft jazz playing and beautifully presented decor. We had afternoon tea, the scones were warm and the tea was great, and then full use of the complimentary bar. A short hop to Harrods and Harvey Nichols, it... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
