I wanted to spend my last weekend in London in the Knightsbridge area and a friend recommended The Beaufort, a family-run boutique hotel. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I wasn't looking for a hotel chain because while such hotels tend to be larger with a fuller range of facilities, they also tend to be rather predictable and... More

Stayed here to celebrate my wife's birthday and we were both blown away with the attentive service and friendly atmosphere. The location is superb and really convenient for Hyde Park and shopping at Harrods etc. We were upgraded to a Deluxe room which was a surprise and much appreciated! Complementary cream tea and drinks were also a welcome addition to... More

As soon as you arrive at this little boutique hotel, you will feel welcome and at home. The team working here is excellent, service is impeccable. Everyone will go above and beyond to assist with anything you need. Location is very convenient 2 blocks from Harrod's. Rooms are nicely decorated, a lot of attention to detail. I travel quite a... I was really impressed by my stay at this hotel which is in a beautiful London town house in the centre of Knightsbridge. The staff were welcoming, friendly and professional and couldn't do enough to help. The room was immaculately clean with all the necessary facilities and on tap tea served in your room on a tray at your request... More

We were so happy with our stay here for 1 night just before Christmas. Staff were very helpful and happy. The room was lovely really big for a central London London hotel. We even had a balcony. Location is perfect for Knightsbridge, Kensington shopping and museums. The v&a is 10 min away and Harrods only 5! They have a free... More

What a fabulous time we had! Upgraded to a junior suite which was wonderful, fabulous service, delicious scones and some tasty chilled champagne! We will definitely be back and recommend the Beaufort to our friends ... Super hotel and amazingly professional and welcoming staff and a only a five minute walk from Harrods...

All I can say to the other reviewers of this hotel is thank you, thank you, thank you! I was spending a night in London a business trip, and I don't think I could have found this splendid place but for Trip Advisor. The Beaufort Hotel is on a beautiful, quiet street, yet right near the shopping in Knightsbridge. I'll... More

Second time here. Great choice in London, conveniently located in Knightsbrige close to Harrods and Hyde Park. Staying here makes me feel like living in London instead of being in a standard hotel, due to the shape of Beaufort Gardens neighborhood - really like it. Very convenient to the Piccadilly line, which makes it my hotel of choice while flying... More

This is my favourite hotel to date - if you are looking for hotel heaven, choose this hotel. Complimentary wifi, cream tea, champagne 3-11pm, soft drinks, comfortable lounge area and welcoming reception area all make this a fabulous place to stay. While being very local to Harrods and a tube station nearby, the hotel is quiet to give a perfect... More

I recently stayed for 6 nights at the Beaufort. I love London and this was my first stay at the Beaufort. As always, I did research on Trip Advisor before making a new hotel choice. Typically, in big cities, on family trips, we like Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton, Peninsula etc. But this trip was a last minute shopping, museum excursion,... More

Staying in Knightsbridge

Neighborhood Profile
Knightsbridge
When millions of tourists want to shop 'til they drop, they do it along Brompton Road and its boutique-lined tributaries, including the world-renowned Harrods. And when millionaires want to flaunt what they've already got, many of them find Knightsbridge and Belgravia the perfect place to do so, often behind stately mansion walls or down quiet private mews. Delve beyond the ultra-luxe exterior and you'll find some of this city's cosiest pubs, quiet gardens, and all sorts of indie retailers and enterprises worth a short exercise in spontaneous window shopping. For those looking to take a break from shopping, Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, and some of the city's most popular museums are nearby.
