I like this Hotel. Its quintessentially English. It does white gloved afternoon tea. It has a hotel brolly and stand in the bedroom waiting for you and if you're a guy you wont be able to leave the men's room unless first brushed down by the attendant who'll find some fluff on your jacket somewhere that's for sure. The Savoy is a first class experience from start to finish. It is due to close at the end of this year and reopen in 2009. I hope that it loses none of it's charm and character once the renovations have been completed.
