Unexpected very early check-in with a room & extended check-out upgrade. Breakfast in Kasper's and high tea with friendly efficient staff in spacious well appointed relaxing atmosphere. Enjoyed the personal touches. To be repeated

Staying at The Savoy feels like home away from home. Every area, general and rooms are kept up immaculately. We have stayed a few times before. They called us by name from the time the taxi arrived. We were personally escorted to our room and showed us how to control everything in it. They set up our wifi and left... More

The Savoy is amazing. Historical, fun, great bar and right in the middle of the great city of London. The rooms are simple but classy. Slightly expensive but worth the splurge if you want to experience London at its best.

My husband and I had a memorable overnight stay at the Savoy Hotel London to celebrate our Golden Wedding this month April 2015. Our bedroom was most comfortable. It was greatly appreciated that we had a side view right down the River Thames. The friendliness and efficiency of the Staff was outstanding . We had delicious Dinner and a magnificent... More

We stopped at the American Bar for a bottle of champagne before lunch, the service was impeccable as you would expect from the Savoy. Very plush bar, not ideal for people watching, there is a pillar in middle of the bar, which limits your vision. Nice views from the windows. The choice of cocktails was amazing, there was one for... Lovely hotel everything was fine.hotle was very clean staff are friendly. Just don't ask the concierge to sort anything out for you as they will let you down. Even when you phone them many times to remind them.

Amazing hotel in a great position in London. Staff are attentive and very knowledgable and always willing to help. Food is amazing at the Grill and the America bar is a great place to have a pre dinner cocktail. The pianist and singer in there is fantastic and well worth a visit even if you are not staying at the... More

If I could score The Savoy a '6' I would... We stayed there for 2 nights this week in a river facing king delux room. Great view of the river with lots of natural light. The hotel is in a fab location for Covent Garden as well as several other well known attractions such as the London Eye and Trafalgar... More

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighborhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
