We stayed at Claridges for two nights. Upon arrival we were greeted with a very warm welcome and made to feel very special. We were given a guided tour of the hotel. Our room which was a king superior suite was stunning, quiet and clean with a bottle of champagne and a bowl of fruit waiting for us. The breakfast... More

Claridge’s: this is an impeccable hotel, without a doubt, among the top hotels of London in all regards. In my travels, I have always enjoyed testing the best the hotel industry has to offer at each location, because the pleasure of staying at a hotel is part of the trip. I have stayed at the best hotels of London, and... More

We have stayed in Claridges on a number of occasions, each time in a different type of room and on different floors and they were all fabulous. The rooms and suites are large, beautifully put together and a real joy. The staff have always been impeccable resolving minor hitches without drama or delay. Everyone in this hotel knows that they... More

We stayed at Claridges for a birthday celebration, also enjoying the Claridges Bar and Fera restaurant. Wow, what a gorgeous and friendly hotel! Immediately on arrival, we were greeted warmly at check-in, and this remained the tone of our whole stay. Check-in was quick and the receptionist showed us to our room and arranged a welcome drink of champagne. The... More

I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The times do change but Claridge's does it best to maintain what makes this hotel great and can easily call itself one of the best in London. In 20 years I've had two minor glitches during my stays and they were addressed and fixed within minutes. The suites are too die for and the... More

Xmas would not be the same without our normal stay in Claridge's. We have done so for a long number of years and stay there at other times in the year when in London. Why Claridge's ? Well it is not difficult to return to this superb Hotel. The welcome, the comfort, the service, friendliness and the food all combine... More

Had a very nice room, a pleasant lunch, evening meal and breakfast. This did not make up for foul water coming through the sink, bidet and bath plug holes however! Honestly, this spoilt the experience entirely. Also, people walked through the lobby, just to look at the Christmas tree. As I was trying to meet up with family, this made... More

Along with the lovely rooms, comfy beds and prime location in Mayfair, the staff and service was really excellent. I stay at a lot of hotels, so having a bed that is not-too soft and not to too firm is one of those perks you can't take for granted. We thoroughly enjoyed the food as well. I will definitely stay... Very pleasant and simple check in. Incredibly pleasant personnel. Nothing is too much trouble executed with a smile. Great rooms. Pleasant and cute Art Deco decor. Wonderful bed. Huge and lovely. Very clean room. Food in the evening and breakfast are very good indeed. Would recommend this hotel to anyone without any hesitation.

Want to feel like a Royal? Stay here. Amazing place stayed many times and love it- very relaxed atmosphere right in the heart of London. Prices quite punchy but you get what you pay for, nice dining options also

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
