If you are looking for a an afternoon tea with a lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and delightful food, look no further than Claridge's. My Mum and I recently visited for her birthday, having both always wanted to go to Claridge's for the famous experience and it certainly didn't disappoint. The sandwiches, particularly the chicken were so delicious, the Marco Polo... More

I have been fortunate enough to stay at Claridges on a handful of occasions, more recently getting engaged there! This is without a doubt the best hotel in the world. The rooms, the service, the bar and the food are all absolutely outstanding. I cant even mention the hotel to anyone without smiling - I cannot wait to go back!

Claridges is a fantastic hotel. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The room was great and very spacious and clean. The intimate bar off to the side of the tea room is great for a quiet drink or meeting. I love it there and recommend it to anyone that is traveling to London.

We stayed here for my birthday weekend. Amazing location and property, but the staff are what made our stay so wonderful. From the check in staff to the doorman to the bar staff, I couldn't fault it. Special thank you for the birthday treat. Wonderful!

After confirming a dining reservation at Fera, we decided that it would be the perfect excuse to book an evening at Claridges. From the moment you step out of the cab, you know you're in for something special: highly attentive footmen who whisk you effortlessly towards the reception team. An aroma at reception that is subtle, different and amazing. Something... More

This art deco gem is in a great location, wonderful lobby and details. The room we stayed in clearly had many wonderful and expensive art deco details, but regrettably wasn't really pulled together from an interior decorating standpoint. This was a bit of a disappointment. Service was great.

The sheer size, opulence and grandeur of this hotel grab you the moment you walk through those famous doors. The staff are, as you would expect, attentive yet unobtrusive. I could easily while away a few days here, closeted from the hustle and bustle of the city.

I spent a fantastic birthday weekend at the hotel at the end of January. My husband had booked a superior King room for my birthday surprise and on arrival we had been upgraded to a suite which was stunning. Champagne, balloons, a small cake and even a birthday card from the staff awaited me. Nothing was too much trouble for... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighborhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
