We stayed at this cozy hotel for three nights in April. The location is great with just a 10-15 min. walk to Oxford Street or Covent Garden. The staff is very friendly and helpful. If you don't have any plans for your stay the staff will always have suggestions for what to do and where to go. The hotel is... More

Situated just a short walk from Euston and Goodge Street, this B&B was exactly what me and my friends needed. As a group of 3 students we found the hotel fairly priced. We were pleased to find 3 single beds in our room as requested as others accommodation in London would have meant 2 of us sharing a bed. It... More

Earlier in the month of March, 2015, I had the pleasant opportunity to stay at the Ridgemount Hotel in London’s Bloomsbury neighborhood. My seven day stay there turned out to be perfect. The Ridgemount is centrally located. Most major attractions are literally within 15-20 minutes, be it by foot, tube, bus, or taxi. The Goodge Street tube station is a... More

if - like me - you just want a competitive price, a clean bed, and a warm welcome close to the eurostar terminal at st pancras, then this hotel strikes me as pretty much perfect. 'nuff said, as they say!

It is a very good hotel, not the kind of "big ones" but family's one. The staff is just great, very kind, very helpful The hotel is very well located, rooms are not tremendous but quite fine (beds are not very large). It is very clean. Breakfast is just so good! If I go back to London, I'll go back... More

This quaint simple family-run gem is my favourite London hotel. Ive been staying here on my London visits for over a decade. Friendly staff (hello Rees family!) super location, brilliant breakfast - all at a very affordable price for central london. Easy walk to Oxford St, Tottengam Ct Rd, Soho etc. Simple to access from the Eurostar (one bus, 10... More

This is our second stay here, so it must be ok! For a reasonably priced B &B , walking distance of Euston and 2 tube stations, you can't go wrong. It is family owned, and they make sure all guests looked after. Each morning we were asked what our plans were, and given advice on the best routes. The buses... More

This is our second stay at the Ridgemount Hotel and once again, i am not dissapointed, a warm welcoming, a very nice staff, a great breakfeast. Situated right in the middle between St Pancras and Oxford street, a nice place to stay.

I stayed here just after Christmas 2014 with my husband and my parents for 3 days. We shared a 4 bedroom and had a water closet and shower immediately across the hall. The rooms were clean and spacious. An English breakfast (eggs, toast, sausage/beans/tomato) is served every day by the family-based staff. The gentleman who runs the hotel is so... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
