There have been so many good reviews on this hotel, and I'd like to add my own to the list! We stayed here 2 nights in June, 2009 during the 2 day tube strike. We arrived at Heathrow, took the Heathrow Express to Picadilly, and then a bus "close" to the hotel. At that time I was't sure how to... more

I'm a returning guest and I will be returning again in the future. Cosy family run hotel with a personal touch (the owner walking around the tables at breakfast asking whether you need tips on how to do things, where to go, etc). Rooms are small but clean and that's what matters to me; beds are comfy with good mattresses.... more

Very friendly staff in a great location..London can be difficult in a heatwave essentially being a city designed a couple of hundred years ago. They had a fan in the room to cater for the heatwave like conditions, very helpful as we have a third one tucked into the roaster... Lots of little pubs and restaraunts in the area. Easily... more

This hotel has everything you need for a stay in London. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, the breakfast was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. I stayed in a quad ensuite for a few nights with my parents and brother, and in a different quad without a bathroom another night. Even though the... more

The Ridgemount Hotel is basic and cheap. If you expect more than that, then you will be disappointed. You definitely will not find a hotel this cheap in Bloomsvury. On the whole, the hotel feels worn and a little rundown, but everything worked. Free wi-fi was a definitely plus. I had a single room with shared bath. The room itself... more

We had 3 nights at the Ridgemount, excellent hosts, gave great advice on transport, pubs etc. Breakfast was excellent, a great start to the day, free internet access was available any time of the day as was tea & coffee. We had a room facing the court yard, lovely outlook. Excellent location as we were catching the Eurostar to Paris,... more

Stayed four nights with spouse. The best hotel staff on our three country, four city trip. PROS Very friendly staff (especially the gentleman that asks each morning what your plans are and if he can help) Full English breakfast in cozy basement eating area (great staff there too) Free high speed internet access in cozy front reading/TV room Good, safe... more

I stayed at the Ridgemount Hotel for 3 nights in June 09 and I really enjoyed my stay. A great solution for a low budget hotel in a fantastic location. if you're looking for a simple room to stay at and have a place to crash at night, this is the place for you. On my next time in London... more

If you're looking for luxury then this hotel won't be for you. If you want central London at around £50 a night, then this is a pretty good bet. It's in Bloomsbury, just round the corner from the British Museum and easily accessible from Euston Square/Goodge St/Russell square tube stops. Location cannot be beaten. The room was basic but comfortable.... more

My wife and I had high hopes for this hotel based on the reviews here and were more than satisfied. Our room, although at the top floor was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and very much like family by the end of the trip. Its hard to know what to say that hasnt been said. Even without... more
