Stayed here two nights in may 2012.  Great location, 3mins walk to Goodge tube station.  Blocks from the british museum. 10 to 15 min walk to SoHo.  Extremely friendly and helpful staff.  Nice lounge with fair priced vending machine and free tea and coffee.  Wifi signal was strong. generous hot English breakfast (egg, ham, beans) of which the portion size... I stayed at Ridgemount last december with my fiance and both of us enjoyed my stay there. Although the hotel is more of a family-run inn, the service provided by the staff was wonderful. The owners were very helpful, and provided us with bus maps on the day we arrived. We were also grateful that they helped us with our... More

stayed here for 5 nights with friends for vacation. We reserved a room for 7 ppl, for a total of 2 bedrooms with our own private bathrooms (ensuite). Mr. Reese the owner was amazing, and so is the rest of the staff. I felt very comfortable staying there. The rooms were nice and clean, and comfortable. Beds are small just... More

We recently spent four nights in London at the Ridgemount Hotel. The property is steps away from a bus stop and one block from the tube. After a transatlantic flight and arriving very early in the morning, the owners greeted us and showed us where to keep our bags until our room was ready. From the beginning, the owners were... More

We loved our stay at this homey hotel. Not really a hotel, more like an old fashioned "Inn" or Bed and Breakfast. We felt so welcome right away! They helped us with our heavy bags down the stairs and gave us advice about how to get to the theater we had tickets for. Our room had one double bed, and... More

As well as friendly extremely helpful owners who could not do enough to help. The rooms although compact had plenty of storage and were spotlessly clean. We stayed on two occasions during our trip and both rooms were great. This must be the best value in London so close to everything an breakfast was great.

We stayed 4 nights in this hotel to see a Tottenham football game and the room was cleaned every morning, the batroom and toilets that we shared were cleaned as well. The breakfast was very good with a different variation of food every morning and toast. The staff were very nice and helpful even though one of the guy was... More

I've been there few days 4 years ago. Paid price was £50, the room was very small, a little noisy, but clean. Shared bathroom. Breakfast was OK. Good location because near an "Underground" station. I was satisfied, good service.

This Hotel compares very favourably to similarly priced hotels I have stayed in London. It is very clean, the room, though typically London small, was very well laid out. The furnishings are dated and the television was very old but we found the room comfortable. The location is very convenient. Breakfast was okay; lacked variety but did the job. This... More

This hotel is overrated by previous opinions. Hotels in London are expensive, and "budget" options are frequently 3-4 story old houses that have been updated as hotels. This means small bathrooms and thin walls. The location of the Ridgemount is excellent, five blocks from the British Museum. The room was small with two beds for the kids and a bigger... More
