This was my second stay at the Crescent. My previous visit was more than 8 years ago and I was delighted to see nothing had changed. The Crescent is simple, delightful and very well run. I stayed in one of the single rooms on the top floor. Like most hotels in London, these rooms are small, but the Crescent makes... More

While visiting London on a study abroad trip for school, we stayed at the Crescent Hotel. The central location, clean and comfortable accommodations, and daily breakfast made it easier to get started and end each day. I very much enjoyed staying here.

We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Crescent Hotel, given the affordable rate. All the basics are done very well, with the bonus of wonderful front desk staff and a great location. Our room was larger than we expected, we enjoyed the variety of good eateries nearby and the walk to the National Museum. We like the hop-on,... More

We needed a room for one night. We were coming into Kings Cross from Scotland late in the evening and flying back to the US the next day. The location was good, as it was an easy walk from the station. The room was small and rather dated, but adequate. We had a double and two twins for the three... More

We were thrilled to find our lovely room ready for us at 10 in the morning, following an overnight flight from the US. Comfy beds called for an immediate nap. Hotel is very quiet. Russell Square Tube station is a few blocks away, as is the British Museum. Also a bus stop for the hop on-hop off tour buses. Lots... More

Stayed here while in London for a family wedding and it was ideal for us. Just five minutes' walk from Euston Station - twin and double rooms were a decent size, extremely clean and with a good sized bathroom, which is a definite bonus in a hotel in this price-bracket. Had a great sleep - bed was very comfy and... More

We stayed in this hotel (April 2015) to take my stepson to London for his first visit. We found the hotel to be in a great location that was relatively quiet. We had a family room and the grandparents had a double. The rooms were well presented and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent there was... More

Our family of 5 stayed at the Crescent Hotel in London in April 2015 (2 adults, 3 kids under 10). We loved it! They put us in the family suite on the lower floor, and it was so clean and quiet, with lovely beds and bedding and a gorgeous bathroom and all the amenities to keep us comfortable. London is... Crescent Hotel is one of the many budget hotels that have sprung up in the vicinity of the arrival station of the Eurostar, in what is clearly a central area. It had overwhelmingly good reviews and good rates for London. Travelling solo, I took a single room that took me back to times almost forgotten of a small rom with... More

The Crescent Hotel has been in the same family ownership since 1956. Offering a full range of options to a discerning clientele. The far side of Cartwright Gdns. is currently being reconstructed. We have been actively involved with the project managers to ensure that all unavoidable negative effects are fully managed. We have monitored our regular guests and no major... More

We stayed in August 2014, 4 nights with 4 adult family travelers in one room. While it was a tish cramped, we only slept there. Bathroom needs an update but that is true of most hotels in London, even the pricey ones. There is no elevator. Breakfast room is charming and on the basement level. Breakfast was great. Cooked to... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
