I've stayed at this hotel on quite a few occasions. It's in a very nice location, opposite Hyde Park. It's much smaller and cosier than many of the hotels in the area, and he rooms are very nice. It's old fashioned, but that is its charm.

Spent three nights at Thistle Hyde Park. My choice was mainly its location to Hyde Park and very close to two underground Central line (red) stations. I choose the 37 m2 but I guess it is much smaller than that, maybe they are counting the balcony that you can't get access to. Victorian age building nicely looked after however it... More

We stayed here for three nights following a bus tour. The staff were very helpful and friendly, room was great and location was terrific. We like to walk so being opposite Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park we were able to walk through parkland as far or as little as we liked. Metro station is close if you need it and popular bar... More

Recently spent 3 nights at this hotel (traveling from Australia), very friendly staff, the location is ideal, away from busy London but still within 15 mins walk to Marble Arch. Directly opposite Hyde Park, lovely to walk thru gardens. Rooms was great, only thing is hot water takes a long time to come through and showers hard to operate, no... More

We stayed here for just one evening as we were going to see a concert at the Royal Albert Hall (which was only 10 mins walk away) Upon arrival we were greeted by a very smiley and friendly receptionist, she took all our details and explained our rooms would be ready in half and hour (we had arrived just after... This was my first trip to England, and I booked this hotel through a travel agent after viewing it on TripAdvisor. My wife and I used this as the beginning of our honeymoon and stayed here for four nights. We loved it. We were upgraded to a junior suite due to this being our honeymoon. Our room was a little... Stayed here for 6 nights. Had a wonderful stay. The front desk is so helpful, gracious and works more like a front desk cum Concierge. Thanks Jo Jo and Princess. You both were lovely to me and my travel companions. So first thing first, The positives: Location is fantastic. It cannot get any better if you want to stay near... More

This hotel was great for myself and my husband. It is conveniently located across from Hyde Park. A short walk to Queensway for souveneir shopping as well as the underground train. Our room was clean and very comfortable. I managed to work out the hot water for a bath. Absolutely loved the Victorian-feel of the hotel. The staff were very... More

I chose this hotel after much research and am extremely happy that I did. Here’s why: Location: Ideal for easy access to Hop-On, Hop-Off Bus Tours, shopping along Oxford Street or relaxing in Hyde Park after a busy day’s sightseeing. Façade and Décor: Very Victorian, very London. Not some bland, generic-looking hotel. Room: Immaculate, quiet and spacious with a very... More
