I finally had the opportunity to stay at this iconic property, over the July 4th weekend. I had heard about it for so many years, and I was looking forward to checking it off my list of "must see" hotels. First of all, you are taken aback by the sheer magnitude and architecture of the building. Absolutely stunning. Make sure... More

Having worked nearby for many years, I had eaten in the hotel many times, and had often wanted to stay, so was given the perfect opportunity when in London for a business trip. Plus points: stunning architecture in the older part of the hotel; charming staff, and excellent food, especially the choices at breakfast. Downsides - these might seem petty... More

This hotel was an unpleasant surprise, except for the fact that the staff is excellent (not a single staff member from London, all foreigners) and the building is beautiful. There seems to be two types of rooms, two types of areas in the hotel; it is divided for two social classes, so to speak. There are VIP rooms, and then..... More

This is the second time I've stayed at this particular hotel. I booked a Chambers Suite Room, which includes Club Access. Overall the property is nice, the location is great for getting around London, with both underground and National Rail stations extremely close. The room itself was nice, although a little small...it's a London thing I believe. breakfast and overall... More

Thanks for this great feedback. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed your recent stay and were especially impressed by the location. With 3 National train stations, multiple tube lines and the Eurostar in short walking distance, Kings Cross is considered Europe’s best connected transport hub. Great to learn you were able to spend some time in the Chambers Club... More

This is a beautiful hotel and the staff were graceful. The main gothic reception areas are stunning but your room is likely to be in the new part behind with a view of the back wall of the station some four feet away. What really annoyed me and totally soured the experience is that internet connection in your room is... More

Thanks for your feedback. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed your recent stay and were especially impressed by the restoration of the building and level of service provided by the staff. As you say, Marriott does continue to charge for high speed internet which is in line with the competition, but we are pleased to be able to offer... More

My wife and I are frequent visitors to this hotel when we come to London from York for a culture and food trip. The rooms are large, air conditioned and luxurious. Take the inclusive breakfast package and you get a really good deal. Service was excellent and I recommend this hotel to anyone. If you get bored with hotel food... More

Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 children under age 13) plus my sister-in-law stayed here during an 11 day tour of England and Paris. We spent two nights after touring middle and southern England with local relatives. We planned to explore London for a full day (since we have been before) and catch a 7:30 a.m. Eurostar train... What an amazing stay! Beautiful hotel, comfy room and fantastic service. The hotel is a bit pricey, but all of the positives, plus the convenient location make it well worth the indulgence! I will definitely revisit this hotel in the future!

I would give to hotel a 3.5 if I could. This location has historic past as old train station and is a beautiful building. It is adjacent to the St Pancras train staton for international trains into London like Paris and new City Library. Across the street is the St Pancras underground and inter-city train station. The airport is 1... More

My husband took me here as an anniversary surprise in June. On arrival check in was courteous and smooth. We upgraded to a Chambers room which is located in the oldest grandest part of the building. This allowed us access to the Chambers club room with complimentary drinks and nibbles, and also included a wonderful breakfast. The building has been... More
