Stayed here for 2 nights. Close to tube station (10 min walk). Easy check in and out. Clean spacious apartment with all mod cons. Place lacks soul but does the job well. Close to bars and the like. In an up and coming area.

Full facilities, space, privacy and modern decor. This is my first time in a Serviced Apartment and I'm inclined to say it may now by my abode of choice should I visit London again! The personal experience of an apartment takes away the crammed, sausage factory feel of a hotel where you just feel you are one of many. The... More

I booked this apartment as part of a surprise birthday trip for my wife via Amazon Local and was very pleased with it. We only booked two nights but the room was so comfortable, we could have easily stopped all week! The apartment is about a 15min walk from London Bridge or Borough tube stops, which makes it ideally located... More

Arrived late friday evening 6th March. We had driven from Ireland and were greeted warmly by the staff. We had expensive music equipment in the van and the staff were more than happy to allow us to store securly in our appartments even though secure parking is available 3 mins away. The appartments were beyond expectations. The location is close... More

My Wife and I stayed here for a couple of nights over the weekend as we were up in town for a family thing. The price (we got it on a deal) was very reasonable compared to other places to stay in London and was in a pretty good location on a reasonably quiet road not far from London Bridge... More

My husband and I planned to stay in London with some friends. We decided not to book into the same hotel as them as they paid £150 plus per night and thought we would find something more within our budget. I came across Go Native and was surprised at the amazing value for money the hotel offered (we paid £60... More

I got a good value deal to stay here for two weeks while working in London. The Bermondey Street area in Southwark was described as a rough area by an ex-Londoner friend, but I have to say that with most things close to city centres it must have changed. Sure it still has a grungy feel to it, but there... More

I booked Go Native for three nights via Priceline's Express Deals and, so, got an excellent rate; still, after staying here, I'd gladly pay the full rate if it was necessary. The hotel was everything that the website claims and more. Apart from being in a solid part of London (short walk from either London Bridge or Borough tube stations),... More

Don't get me wrong, this place is located conveniently, and it's inexpensive. The rooms are always spotless and the reception staff are great. But the beds are some of the most uncomfortable places I've ever slept. Noisy open corridors are also a frustration, doors banging along the corridor make an early night impossible. Flat and hard and that's just the... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
