I booked Go Native for three nights via Priceline's Express Deals and, so, got an excellent rate; still, after staying here, I'd gladly pay the full rate if it was necessary. The hotel was everything that the website claims and more. Apart from being in a solid part of London (short walk from either London Bridge or Borough tube stations),... More

Don't get me wrong, this place is located conveniently, and it's inexpensive. The rooms are always spotless and the reception staff are great. But the beds are some of the most uncomfortable places I've ever slept. Noisy open corridors are also a frustration, doors banging along the corridor make an early night impossible. Flat and hard and that's just the... More

I stayed just for one night but would have be nice for a week. This accommodation really exceed my expectations The room is so big and modern, there's an amazing shower and a very cleaned and useful kitchen. The nearest station is borough and it's just 7 minutes by walking. The price it wasn't expensive for the service that they... More

I stayed here with my wife for a weekend and booked through Priceline, which meant we paid around £55 per night for the room. Considering its a studio with its own kitchenette I thought this was very good value. The location is cracking; Bermondey street is a trendy thoroughfare with bars, restaurants and a few shops (not many). Its a... More

Clean, warm, comfortable, well equipped, practical, convenient, competitively priced, and has all you need for a very pleasant stay. The bed was very comfy, the lights were a bit tricky to get used to, but service is 24 hours so we should have tested them with a phone call. Our fault, not theirs. Local Sainsbury's within a 2 minute walk, so we saved a fortune in restaurant bills.... More

My wife & I stayed here for a few days when we moved to London many months ago. We were not sure what to expect but were pleasantly surprised. While the rooms are the typical, small London spaces, they are well designed for a couple. Everything was nice and new. The location isn't great to catch a train though with... More

It was a nice place for the price. Had a nice kitchenette if you needed one. Washer and dryer. A few issues in the room but it was taken care right away by the staff. Lots of restaurants around the area prices ranging from high to low.

Good value. Surprised with the well-fully equipped kitchen, all new: stoves, oven with microwave function, big fridge, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, pots and pans, cutlery, soap, dishcloths, etc. Only missing good knives. Ridiculously unable to cut crusty bread, great effort for an apple. Iron and more related home stuff I did not have the chance to use but looked great. Comfy... More

Everything was lovely, clean, quiet, easy access to tube station. Nice bars and places to eat on the same street and a tesco just a 5 minute walk away! Friendly staff. Really Lovely rooms, I am planning to stay again when I next visit London!

It was our 3rd stay here and we selected this place based on 2 previous positive experiences. The studio was bigger, you would say it was a 1-bedroom size but with no doors. The layout is a bit confusing, the wardrobe is tiny, the table with 2 chairs not really welcoming. But we liked the shower and lovely The White... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
