Over the last few years every time I have been planning a trip to London I have tried to get a room here, but until my visit in November they have been fully booked. This time I got a room though. After staying I can see why the reviews are so good. The rooms are great, with a kitchen/sitting/dining area,... More

I'm very sad to see that Fleet River is no longer able to rent their lovely rooms above the bakery. It was for me the perfect place to stay in London on my annual theatre & opera trips. I wish them well and hope they re-open B&B rooms at some point in the future. In the meantime, I'll stop by... More

Dear all I just wanted to clarify our situation at the Fleet River Rooms. It is with great sadness that I have to report we will no longer be able to offer short stay accommodation above the Bakery from February 2015, due to a planning issue. We ARE able to honour all existing bookings so please do not worry if... More

Only stayed one night but it was perfect! Staff were very friendly, room was larger than I was expecting. Great shower too which is always a bonus! Excellent location central but also quiet which was perfect. Stayed for my husband's 30th birthday, he couldn't quite believe it when I said we were staying at a cafe but he loved it.

Stayed here for 5 nights; what a fabulous location, just a few steps away from Holborn station which is on the Central line on the underground so connects to whole heap of places tourists are likely to want to go . To find it, go down beside the fruit & veg store, think it's called Twyford lane or something like... More

I stayed here with my hubby for 4 nights recently and I can say it was great. Location is so central, walking to many places a visitor will want to see is so easy. The underground station is right on the corner too. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good, choices made from the regular menu... More

Great location both walking distance to many attractions with tube around the corner. Relatively quiet once windows are closed, especially at night. Breakfast is included in room price and is served down stairs in bakery with choice left to the guest. Many options of pastries, eggs and cereals - all excellent. Coffee is excellent. Given the price of room, it's... More

Our apartment was located above Fleet River Bakery and it is very spacious. It includes a comfortable but somewhat small two person bed, a pull out sofa, a kitchen, LCD TV, and a rather small bathroom with shower. Despite being locate above the bakery, we didn't hear any noise from the shop. You are in the heart of London though,... More

Really good accommodation right in the heart of London. The room was really nice but could do with a fan as it got quite hot in the evening and if you open the window it's a bit noisy. Apart from that the breakfasts in the bakery were excellent, very helpful staff good food and lots of pubs nearby, which we... More

In the middle of LSE and accessible to Central London by foot (near the tube and not far from King's Cross/Euston and other stations), we were very pleased with our reception and treatment by the Fleet River team. Living upstairs from a quality bakery/deli, might be seen by some to be too much of a temptation, but it suited us... More
