Stayed here for 5 nights; what a fabulous location, just a few steps away from Holborn station which is on the Central line on the underground so connects to whole heap of places tourists are likely to want to go . To find it, go down beside the fruit & veg store, think it's called Twyford lane or something like... More

I stayed here with my hubby for 4 nights recently and I can say it was great. Location is so central, walking to many places a visitor will want to see is so easy. The underground station is right on the corner too. The staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is very good, choices made from the regular menu... More

Great location both walking distance to many attractions with tube around the corner. Relatively quiet once windows are closed, especially at night. Breakfast is included in room price and is served down stairs in bakery with choice left to the guest. Many options of pastries, eggs and cereals - all excellent. Coffee is excellent. Given the price of room, it's... More

Our apartment was located above Fleet River Bakery and it is very spacious. It includes a comfortable but somewhat small two person bed, a pull out sofa, a kitchen, LCD TV, and a rather small bathroom with shower. Despite being locate above the bakery, we didn't hear any noise from the shop. You are in the heart of London though,... More

Really good accommodation right in the heart of London. The room was really nice but could do with a fan as it got quite hot in the evening and if you open the window it's a bit noisy. Apart from that the breakfasts in the bakery were excellent, very helpful staff good food and lots of pubs nearby, which we... More

In the middle of LSE and accessible to Central London by foot (near the tube and not far from King's Cross/Euston and other stations), we were very pleased with our reception and treatment by the Fleet River team. Living upstairs from a quality bakery/deli, might be seen by some to be too much of a temptation, but it suited us... More

I recently stayed here for two nights on business. I had to move elsewhere for the third night which I did on a secret hotel deal and ended up with one of the swankiest 5 star hotels in London. I have just reviewed the other hotel and told them a few things they could learn from the Fleet River Rooms,... More

This haven of tranquillity just behind Holborn tube is a delight. We have been staying here for many years and never a reason to complain. It is tucked away behind Holborn tube in a pedestrian only area and is so quiet even at night with the windows open. It is ever so slightly bohemian but in the most charming way... More

We were so glad we decided to stay here. When we visited London in the end of April, the tube was on strike on our second and third full day, but thanks to the great location of this place, we did all we wanted to by walking to the places. Yes we could take buses and taxis, but the roads... More

The apartment we stayed in was up several flights of stairs, but one of the bakery staff carried our cases up for us without being asked to. There were two very comfortable single beds, a sofa for two, a kitchen area which had a full size fridge, washer/dryer, microwave, oven, kettle, toaster. There was an ironing board and airer. The...
