I have just returned home after a four day holiday in London staying at the Waterloo Travelodge. The hotel is walking distance from Waterloo station and Southwark underground and is perfect if you are seeing a play at the Old Vic as I did. The play ended late into the evening and as I was on my own I wanted... More

Always clean and tidy. Basic but if, like me, you're out most of the day this is never an issue. Staff very polite. Early check in is never a problem. I stay here often to go to West End shows. There is a convenient corner shop nearby too. Very close to tube, taxis, buses.

This was a last minute booking, and I was desperate. Good job really. As regards the accommodation, it's a Travelogue. They are all the same and this was typical. My beef isn't with the accommodation. It is what it is & if you have stayed in this sort of place before you know what you are getting. No. My beef... More

Had a good and satisfying 2 night stay at this hotel. Rooms are nice and clean, breakfast is ok. It is a good 3-star/budget alternative in London. Staff is friendly. Wifi is free for 30 mins each day, would have preferred this to be free 24/h.

Myself and a friend choose this hotel as it is close to The Old Vic where we were going to see an evening performance ( The Crucible - it was excellent BTW!) The hotel was very clean and all you need for a quick stop over in London. My only complaint is that the room was very hot ( it... More

We stayed Thursday to Sat in Aug '14. Just a short stroll from Waterloo station. The room bathroom, and shower were spotless clean, and certainly not cramped or small. the bed was crisp and clean and very comfortable. No night time noise or disturbance. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we would definitely stay again. Worst point was... More

Stayed here last night and having had some unpleasant stays previously with this chain, was very pleasantly surprised. The hotel has been refurbished and I could find no fault. Clean, contemporary and fresh. The staff were all marvellous and I will definitely return when next in London.

The hotel was located close to the Waterloo station. When we checked in, the staff was very unfriendly. We wanted to leave our lugage because the room was only available at 13 o clock and this was impossible!!! We had to pay 20£ for an early access to our room so we could leave our luggage!! The room was on... More

We stay here for the cricket for every test at the oval. The place never changes. The place is always so hot in the corridors! Why not change the lights to LEDs? Lifts are small and there only two which hold eight people only which can make it busy at times Bar is small and limited choice but adequate No... More
