No luxury hotel, but friendly staff, clean rooms, great beds (apart from twin rooms). Very central, but usually quiet at night. If you want to save money and just need a nice, clean place to spend the night London Waterloo Central is the place to go. Liked it better than (also nice) Southwark Travelodge because windows can be opened a... More

Recently stayed at this hotel with some friends and I have to start with the negatives.Checked in and made my way to the lift which strongly smelt of urine. There are two lifts available and the one on the left hand side did not go up to the 8th floor although the choice to do so is there.I exited the lift... Rooms were clean and spacious, in terms of amenities and wifi you get what you pay for, what let down this place for me was they apparently don't have any space to hold your luggage for you if you arrive early (I have never had any problem with this even in tiny hostels) but they do let you pay 10pounds... Upon booking was pleasantly surprised that a double room on a Friday night in April was only £83. Located a short walk from Waterloo station (providing you leave via the correct exit - we didn't and took a taxi, but soon realised how close it was)! Check in smooth and quick. Allocated a room on 5th floor with views of... More

The cleanliness outside of the rooms was disgusting and there was no food available. Would not stay in this hotel again and would not recommend to family or friends even if we were desperate. Terrible

This hotel is cheaper than some others, and close to the tube, but it was not good value for the money. Not enough towels in the room, bare minimum of refreshments and the breakfast was extremely poor. There was no member of staff on duty, no hot food and very very low quality of packaged/cold foods available. I would pay... More

Excellent location, beautiful breakfast and amazing price for London however I'd definitely think twice about staying here in the summer. No air conditioning in the room just a tall fan, my hair was stuck to my face after having a shower and drying it, I thought I was somewhere exotic judging by the heat. I had to leave the fan... I'm sure we'll be back to this hotel when we visit London next time. Nice rooms, huge beds, very friendly and helping staff and very good breakfast! Perfect to rest after a busy day around the city. It is also very well located near train and underground stops. Just perfect!
