I stayed here last week during the heatwave and although the hotel doesn't have air conditioning like the other travel lodge which is quite close, they had provided two portable fans in the rooms and also had provided iced water in reception that was available all day, foc. The room was very clean and tidy and made up as we... More

Sadly disappointed with this budget hotel. The rooms were more like hot boxes, almost unbearable and meaning sleep was impossible. The noisy fan only moved the hot air around. On our second day returned to be denied access to our floor and rooms as the key cards had only been activated for one night instead of two resulting in another... More

Couldn't get into my normal hotel as Wimbledon fortnight had filled virtually everywhere. So with no great expectation I booked into the travel lodge for 7 nights ( spanning parts of 2 weeks). And it was fine. Good location near to Waterloo station. And the Old Vic. Staff couldn't be more helpful and it was clean and very comfortable. Food... More

We stayed for 2 nights in extremely hot weather and no air conditioning in the room or corridors we had 1 towel between both of us but as soon as you stepped out of the shower you were dry & sweaty due to the room temperature, a broken fan was provided with promises of a replacement being arranged which didnt... We stayed 3 nights while attending two weddings in London. The hotel is very conveniently located just down the road from bus, tube and train links and is cheap (well, cheap for London which is expensive compared to everywhere else!). But that's where the good points stop. The room, although clean, was stiflingly hot and there was no air con,... More

Stayed here for 3 nights, great location on Waterloo Road with easy access to Waterloo Underground Station, also walking distance from Southbank, edges of the city and plenty of restaurants/pubs. The room was quite large and was very clean upon arrival. We didn't have breakfast included so cannot comment on that. I would suggest a room on the rear side... More

Typical Travelodge, quite basic furnishings etc. and small rooms. Paid for early 12 o'clock check in and arrived dead on 12 and everything was fine. The member of staff that dealt with me was very pleasant. Room and bathroom clean, no problems with internal or external noise. As many have said the rooms are hot with small windows that barely... We booked this hotel hoping it was cheap, clean, well located, which it was. At £60 a night in Central London, we weren't expecting much. The heat in the rooms was verging on unbearable. They did provide a standing fan, but as the window only opened a tiny amount, this just seemed to blow the hot air round the room.... More
