This is a very nice design hotel. The room had a fresh and nice design, but room was very small (5th floor). Soundproofing between the floors are not good enough as we clearly heard foodsteps from room above. Free "minibar" with water (still and sparkling) and Coke/Sprite. Very friendly staff and good service. The hotel is close to the City... More

Thank you for your valuable comments. Improving soundproofing between 5th & 6th floor is something we are currently examining. In Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill the majority of the rooms especially the Executive class, are above well above average for London with 29 - 33 sqm gross area. When this is combined with an intriguing unique design and unique service... More

The desk staff where very friendly and helpful when I asked how to get a train to Brighton. I've stayed at a few hotels in London, including the Chamberlain just down the street. At Indigo Hotel you get a lot more than most hotels in London give you - free WiFi/Internet, tea, coffee, biscuits, candybars, and bottled water (the water... More

We have stayed at both the Hotel Indigo Paddington and Tower Hill, and we enjoyed the Tower Hill location much better since it is in a quieter neighborhood and had larger rooms. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, with nice features including a stocked refrigerator with water and snacks and robes. The reception was nice. Enjoyed the location. The... More

Lovely feedback, thank you. I would agree that some of the power sockets are hard to reach. Having listening to your comments we have decided to relocate some of them in easy reach of the top of the desk during our next soft refurbishment. We would love to see you back with us on your next trip to London. More

Hotel has many extra touches (free coke and candy refills in room), fun interior design, A/C, robe/slippers, and comfortable beds. Restaurant was very good at the end of a long sightseeing day. Located near Aldgate Underground and within walking distance to Tower of London. Was rather pricey and quite a subway ride to Westminster sights.

Thank you for your comments. Hotel Indigo is a special blend of upmarket boutique experience underpinned by the consistency of Intercontinental Hotels Group (IHG). We agree with you, Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill is situated in a rather quiet and calm corner of the City but within easy reach of the hustle & bustle of the West End. We look... More

We stayed two nights, went to Paris, and returned for three nights. The reception staff was the best we have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Can't say enough good things about them. Pros - Room was large (Executive) nicely decorated, shower was good, Internet with LAN was excellent (not as good with WiFi), TV was good. Common areas were... More

Buses right across the street - tube and DLR 5 minutes away. Very close to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Within walking distance to the City - and Brick Lane. Room and bathroom spacious and clean, staff friendly. Neighbourhood very quiet in the weekend since the city area is fairly empty on Saturday and Sunday. Even some of... More

Our stay was fantastic and the customer service was great. The hotel was spotless and very quiet. We paid a bit more at checkin to get a larger room, which was very nice. Great review thank you. Some say Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill is a "hidden gem". Others are still surprised by it's unique some say "quirky" character. But most of you say this small boutique hotel represents fantastic VFM. We agree on both counts. We also look forward to seeing you back with us very soon. More

This hotel was brilliant. My husband and I went for a weekend away over the bank holiday to celebrate our anniversary. They generously upgraded us to a suite on this basis. We had a great stay in the Hotel Indigo! This is what would be considered a boutique hotel. There are 6 floors and about 40 rooms. There is a very small but pleasant reception lobby. Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
