Very happy to discover this chain. I wanted to earn IHG points and found this hotel to be reasonably priced with a boutique feel. We arrived mid morning, but given our IHG membership, they had our room ready. Wow! That never happens at Hilton or larger hotels! The amenities were wonderful. Essentially everything in the room is complimentary. It was... More

we had a really pleasant stay here. Staff were friendly and the room was really nice. Nice complimentary nibbles and most importantly clean shower. Good location as it was a short walk from Aldgate tube and a nice stroll to Tower Hill for the sights. We will certainly visit again.

We had a great nights stay in January. The receptionist was very helpful and put us in a room with a view to Tower Bridge even though we were only booking in for one night. We ate in the hotel restaurant. I had a sirloin which was sooo tender and tasty, quite expensive but very good. Check out was lengthy... More

Very good hotel on edge of finance district, fantastic room and bathroom all staff very competent and friendly. Special call out for service. Very good location, service and value. Only problem is an associate booked at 40% less than me, not really hotel at fault. Location is about a minute from the DLR giving easy access to and from London... More

I stayed at the indigo hotel in Jan 2016. I travel to London every 3 months and every time i stay at a different hotel. In The Indigo Tower hill they have a big room, espresso machine, free mini bar, complimetary newspaper every morning, super nice staff and most importantly, 2 minutes walk from the Aldgate underground station. I had... More

This hotel is pretty perfect for a stay in London. Good location with quick access to the tube, beautiful room and a very impressive complimentary mini bar. Would definitely stay here again and again.

This hotel is really nice, cosy and comfortable. Great bathroom, amenities and the complementary minibar and coffee & tea set adds a luxurious touch. Location is also very good, 5 minute walk from the Towerbridge which is a good navigation tool too while exploring the city. Breakfast in the room was fine, but there are good options around the corner... More

Having stayed there a couple of weeks ago, I was amazed at the level of service on offer and was equally impressed by the naturally cordial welcome. My bedroom was on the sixth floor and boasted pretty impressive views of local landmarks. Breakfast was ok and did not really detract from what was an outstanding guest experience. I would have... This is a great spot, especially for those who are travelling on business, being on the door step of the city. I've stayed twice in the last month. I'm basing my 4* review on the high standards of the reception staff and the quality of the room and bathroom, which is a notch or two above what you usually get... More

Staying in City of London

Neighborhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighborhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighborhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
