Rooms are very nice and modern but the service is very poor at the reception. I didn't find them very helpful when asking for something and not very friendly. Plus the breakfast was very small, I wouldn't have pay an extra for it. On the positive way, the hotel is very well placed, few minutes away from High Street Kensigton... More

To save some money we took the Piccadilly Line from Heathrow Terminal 1-2-3 Underground Station to the hotel in High Street Kensington. It meant a 35 minute ride, change at Earls Court and another three minutes on the District line (direction Edgware Rd) to High Street Kensington Underground Station. Turn to the left into High Street and walk 320 m/5... More

From the exterior this hotel is nothing more than a doorway next to Nandos, but once inside it does everything you need a hotel to do. The room was clean and the bed comfy. If we return to the area we will definitely be happy to stay again.

Although the room was small, the hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, the bathroom was spotless and the shower was one of the best showers I have seen in a London hotel. The location is ideal for the tube and easy to find.

Good value hotel close to the museums at Kensington and the Royal Albert Hall.Secondary double glazing in the rooms does not effectively keep out road traffic noise. Continental breakfast included in the price and offers a good range of cereals, cold meats and fruit.

I would like to start by saying that despite the fact that I ticked the "remember me" box (see previous answer from the hotel), I had to log in time after time to pick up my e-mails. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The staff were helpful and efficient, the room was just what we needed for... More

This hotel is very small, and they had to be creative with the elevators. I appreciate it. The wifi is infuriating. For one thing, it is one of those hotel wifi set ups where there is no password for the wifi itself, but you have to click through to a website to login. Second, there is both a random login... Dear HairyCo Thank you for staying at Best Western Seraphine Kensington Olympia Hotel. I spoke to our IT people about the issue you had with the internet and they said as below, ''Customer should have just ticked the box to say remember username and password and it would for the duration of voucher. Booked last minute for a great deal as attending a conference in central London. The hotel is situated on Kensington high street - about a 5 minute walk from the tube and surrounded by trendy shops and restaurants that you're spoiled for choice with. Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly staff who couldnt do enough and the reception area... More

Nice hotel, upgraded to the junior suite on arrival which was a good sized room for London standards. Within 5 mins walk of Kensington High Street tube station. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, 10 mins walk to Olympia. Staff could not be more helpful, would definitely stay again.

The BW Seraphine Kensington was a great deal and ticked quite a few boxes for us. Located on the high street, the hotel was v.close to the tube and was within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Our room was very clean, nicely presented and came with all you'd expect from a modern 4* hotel. I particularly liked the rainfall... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
