Stayed for two nights. Clean, tidy room, about the typical the size you normally expect in London and in a good location. Reasonable value for money but breakfast was a little sparse. Massive plus was the overhead shower!

On Kensington High Street and easy walking distance to the Tube station, with shopping and several restaurants close by, this hotel is in a good location. We stayed for 6 nights - and our room was small. Clean and comfortable but not much room around the bed. We were to the rear of the hotel so we had no noise... More

Excellent location and litteraly at 2 minutes walk from Kensington High St. tube station. Clean room and bathroom. Good choice for a weekend in London or if you are travelling for work. Breakfast was a bit poor but overall I have enjoyed my staying.

We stayed here after travelling Europe for a month. Check in was made slightly complicated but the front desk man dealt with it well and rang our room to inform us it had been sorted. The hotel was very small, probably no more than 15 rooms, which made it nice and quiet. We had a room at the back of... More

The hotel has it all; location, cleanliness, nice breakfast and above all the friendly and helpfull staff. I recommend it for a short break. But try to call before arrival in case there is possibility that you get a bigger room.

We stayed for 2 nights recently and the staff and service was very good. The hotel's location is quite good with the High Street Kensington tube station only 5 mins walk away and lots of shops / restaurants close by. The main downside for us was the noise at night. We stayed in room 108 which is situated at the... More

the room was quite small, not much room between the bottom of the bed and the wall, I would say there was quite a lot of ladies hair on the carpet in the room but other than that it was bright, and well appointed, the shower was incredible. Staff were quite helpful and the continental breakfast was ok.

Warm welcome from friendly Polish Manager who upgraded us, so good first impression. The location is perfect, right on the high street, near kensington gardens, loads of restaurants close by, tube 5 mins max walk. Room clean, quiet and fabulous shower, because the water pressure was so good! I was surprised at the breakfast as it was more than I... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
