I have spent three nights in this hotel. The location is really good especially as it is walking distance to Olimpia exhibition. I had a single room (if I remember right it was 204) it had street view, but noise was not a problem. The room had cca 12m2 including bathroom, so it was very small. The sink is the... More

Stayed here for 3 nights during wimbledon. Ideally located for Kensington high street tube or a short walk to Kensington palace or Hyde park. The hotel was small but very clean and modern rooms. The shower was a rain shower design which was wonderful after a long hot day in london along with the fully air conditioned room!! Breakfast was... More

I stayed here for a night after a dinner at Leighton House and asked for a room at the back. Although my room was small, it was clean, quiet and comfortable. I didn't have breakfast here as the Breakfast room looked uninspiring. The wi-fi worked well after some teething problems.

We stayed for a whole week. Clean and tidy but a bit small room. Fantastic overhead shower. Very comfortable but small bed. Good breakfast with fresh fruit, toast, cereals, yoghurt, cheese .... Perfect location, lots of shops and restaurants. Near bus stop and tube. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again

Stayed for two nights. Clean, tidy room, about the typical the size you normally expect in London and in a good location. Reasonable value for money but breakfast was a little sparse. Massive plus was the overhead shower!

On Kensington High Street and easy walking distance to the Tube station, with shopping and several restaurants close by, this hotel is in a good location. We stayed for 6 nights - and our room was small. Clean and comfortable but not much room around the bed. We were to the rear of the hotel so we had no noise... More

Excellent location and litteraly at 2 minutes walk from Kensington High St. tube station. Clean room and bathroom. Good choice for a weekend in London or if you are travelling for work. Breakfast was a bit poor but overall I have enjoyed my staying.

We stayed here after travelling Europe for a month. Check in was made slightly complicated but the front desk man dealt with it well and rang our room to inform us it had been sorted. The hotel was very small, probably no more than 15 rooms, which made it nice and quiet. We had a room at the back of... More

The hotel has it all; location, cleanliness, nice breakfast and above all the friendly and helpfull staff. I recommend it for a short break. But try to call before arrival in case there is possibility that you get a bigger room.

We stayed for 2 nights recently and the staff and service was very good. The hotel's location is quite good with the High Street Kensington tube station only 5 mins walk away and lots of shops / restaurants close by. The main downside for us was the noise at night. We stayed in room 108 which is situated at the... More

Staying in South Kensington

Neighborhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
