A superb location(5 mins walk to BR station) and delightful accommodation. Rooms are clean and well presented. Breakfast is first class offering everything from Greek yoghurt and honey to a full English! Thoroughly recommended

This B&B was just perfect. We stayed here for three days. The room we stayed in had a nice bed with good pillows and free Wifi with good signal. The room and bathroom were really clean. The owners are friendly and funny and you can sense that they really care for their customers. For breakfast they offer a wide variety... More

I had tickets for Wimbledon tennis and booked a top floor room (as guesthouses in older properties are often known for creaky floors) for my stay. Based on reviews here I was expecting a pleasant stay. Sadly I had a very poor stay for the following reasons: - Despite the old cliché about Wimbledon weather, it is hot and sunny... More

I stayed here for 3 weeks whilst training for a new job and the owners were so welcoming I felt right at home. Every morning they cooked whatever I wanted for breakfast and were also really helpful with directions to the station when I first arrived. I stayed in 3 different rooms there and all of them were really clean... More

We stayed on three occasions. The host family was very friendly and helpful, even storing our excess luggage for eight days. Breakfast was first-rate. Location 10-15 minutes from Wimbledon Station and the Broadway with access to two train systems (overground and underground) and plentiful buses was very convenient. A smaller shopping centre is at the doorstep. The rooms were spotlessly... More

I stayed here two nights for a Wedding in the Wimbledon area. The price feels like it is quite steep, but it seems to be the going rate for Wimbledon, and it certainly seemed to provide a more satisfactory stay than my friends. Saying that, my Wife and I were given a family room for the price of a double.... More

We found the Guesthouse through the internet and where pleased with the easy booking there. So we stayed with our daughter for a long weekend in July 2014 to do some sightseeing in London. We were wellcome with a outstanding hospitality and a more than rich breakfeast. The accommodation is in a small street 10-12 Mins. away from Wimbledon train... More

Having stayed at Marple Cottage last year (see Review July 2013) I was really looking forward to my return and was not disappointed. The same welcoming family, wonderful buffet breakfast of fresh fruits, cereals and yoghurts, followed by your choice of freshly cooked eggs any style, bacon, pudding, sausage etc. with toast or croissants and of course as much tea... Marple Cottage is a perfect location for the tennis, walking distance to both the old and new town and Wimbledon tennis. Parking cost £4 for the whole day. Myself and my daughter had a lovely stay, beds were comfy and the hospitality was excellent. We would definately stay again, we are thinking of a weekend of shopping!

I stayed here for one night during Wimbledon fortnight and really enjoyed my stay. The room was spacious, the bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The owners were so friendly and despite being their busiest period, were so attentive. The breakfast was excellent:lots of fresh fruit and cereals and also a cooked breakfast. Felt really well...
