Stayed here for 2 nights and didn't really know what to expect. Exceeded expectations. Quirky and ultra modern but very comfortable and great location. Staff couldn't have been nicer. Without exception, they were all extremely helpful and friendly. Only complaint is that they dont provide a kettle in the room.

First of all I have to admit, I'm a fan of W Hotels. The friend I was visiting in London told me I was crazy to stay in this location, however he even admitted that the location on the edge of "Times Square" was good. When it comes to W Hotels, the staff is key! At this hotel, the staff... More

Stayed five nights for work at the W, to be central, close to the office but also Chinatown and Soho / Covent Garden. Staff relatively indifferent, with the exception of a lovely Portuguese front desk agent. Room design is made for people who have absolutely no problem seeing themselves at every angle in a mirror - not my style but... More

Whilst the hotel is uber modern I felt it lost how to facilitate it's guests along the way. The rooms look super cool with funky lighting with shower and toilet hidden behind full length mirrored doors . I felt it was awkward to shower as there was no where to put your towel and the water seemed to flow out... More

I'm a big fan of W Hotels generally so don't tend to review them that often as the reviews would normally be along the same lines. However, this Friday myself and my 2 young daughters stayed in the Screening Suite and it.is.awesome.. A large room.. large separate bathroom with a large 2 shower steam sauna.. the main bedroom overlooks the... More

Pre theatre cocktails at the W, was WOW!! First class but not cheap cocktails though .. The waiter who served was very kind and thoughtful. It's a very cosy, comfortable and warm when you sit by the fire. Funky sits seating as you get to stretch your legs and lie back and relax!...

First, let's talk location. If you want to be in the middle of everything--this is the place. We were in easy walking distance to Regent street, China Town, Piccadilly Circus and everything else. It's a great place to people watch too. Lots of action. The room was outstanding. We had the Wow suite. If you can pull it off, it's... More

Starwood member, loved the location, room, spa, gym and food (Spicemarket) at the "W" London location. 60 minutes from the airport, great check-in - bell boy's, so so front desk staff that try a bit too hard to please and it's in English, not in their native language. A bit young, but they suffice I guess. Room's are great, wanted a... More

My husband and I spent one night at the W in route to Paris for our babymoon. We arrived at the W exhausted off of a red eye flight and extremely early for check-in. The front desk staff, Ricardo was wonderful. He gave us several options for rooms and noted the potential noise level at each option. We took a... More

Service was very good and the location was great. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what it was but the room was large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very polite and helpful. I would stay here again.

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
