There were great aspects of this hotel - the fabulous service from the entire staff, the wonderful onsite restaurants, the super central location. These things I would really like to point out clearly because I don't want that to be discounted as it is such an important part of the trip. But I am a little confused by the layout... More

I had a 4-night stay at the W London, and it was awesome! The hotel location is great (in the middle of the most happening entertainment area in London and walking distance from upscale shopping venues), the service is good, rooms are nice and clean, and their F&B is really good. Overall, a great W experience similar to what we... More

We are Platinum Starwood members and stayed here in June. The location of this hotel could not be better and the staff was lovely - even the young woman at the concierge desk (we won't name her here but starts with a D) who seemed irritated with having to provide suggestions on what to do on a rainy Sunday in... Phenominally different rooms with nothing left to ask for, clean, unique and well equipped. Amazing staff, fun people and a good business environment. Close to everything and an overall brilliant experience.

The look of the hotel is "wow" but it has not been designed with the comfort of guests in mind. An electric socket and computer port next o a sink - not good idea! Reception is on the 1st floor but there is no sign in the lobby to advise you so 1st impressions are awkward. The hotel has an... More

Sure this place has a good location but there are far better hotels charging less money. The rooms are difficult to use - 1 electrical outlet hidden away is just wrong these days! and to have lights on sensors is fine, if they work; If they don't you end up dealing with a good, but frustrated, maintenance team. Mostly chargeable... More

A lovely venue for a hen party, which, I was on. The service was not as advertised so warm cookies had to be requested, waitress seemed slightly put out that we had even asked. The venue lacked the atmosphere I was expecting. I would rush back but all the same as fairly enjoyable. Might be more accommodating and friendly if... More

Since I tried (and thoroughly enjoyed) other W hotels I decided to stay at the W London Leicester Square over a weekend. Had a cool corner room which was huge, with modern design, a fantastic bed and an awesome bathroom and shower. If you like stylish, clean and modern designs you'll like W London. The hotel follows the same style.... More

We had one of the three Screening Suites, room 736. The blackout bllnds have gaps so don’t fully black the room out. The room overlooks the gym (so you have no view) and there is gym noise early in the morning. The room seemed poorly soundproofed, we could hear loud music late at night No charging port or plug socket... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
