Sor far, the majority of London's hotels are rater old, overpriced and not very stylish. The W is an exception for me - a combination of a new, super stylish, modern hotel. I liked everything from Lobby to the room. Although it is very expensive it is definite alternative with nice service and very centrally located. I will go back!

This is a fantastic hotel. I have wanted to stay here since it opened, and was fortunate enough to do so on a recent visit to London. The room upgrade was out of this world amazing. In room steam shower! Omg! Projection screen TV with build in bed motion sensors. What an experience. Instead of taking the usual points at... More

If you like super modern rooms with crazy art this hotel is the one for you! Very dark lighting and decor and can be very loud at night int he bar area. The bar and lounge are great as well as the gym. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Can't beat this location if you want to be in the... More

I've stayed at the W Hotel London on several occasions and have been to the W Lounge and Wyld Club many more times. I used to really enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, chic layout and attentive staff at the hotel. Sadly my recent experiences have been far less enjoyable by comparison. The staff have become surly and almost deliberately unhelpful and... More

Usually i don't wait so long to write reviews but this one is worth writing so here goes. This wasn't a hotel i personally booked, i was bought this room by my employers to compliment the tickets i had won to go and see the world premier of 'The Hunger Games part 3, Mocking Jay'. I wasn't sure quite what... More

"Whatever, Whenever definitely applies to the W London. I took the boys to London on a last minute trip to London to see a few football matches. I called the hotel directly and was able to book two rooms. I spoke to Adrian at the front desk and asked him to see if we could get at least 1 room... More

We stayed in this hotel two nights. It's quite fancy and sparkly....but when we saw our room we were shocked. Despite being upgraded for being platinum members the room was tiny and claustrophobic. Far too small for too people. There is no room for the luggage, for sitting at the laptop, the sink is is the middle of the room... More

Absolute heaven. Perfect location, excellent room and immaculate hotel. Most memorable trip. And a delightful afternoon tea in the lounge!!! Very convenient location to Soho, Leicester Square, Chinatown. Not far from Covent Garden/Picadilly. Insane amounts of restaurants and shops, super close to theater district. Not too far from St Martins Courtyard. The hotel is always hopping and there are tons... More

During early August my wife and I stayed at the W London for 5 nights. We enjoyed the hotel, but felt it didn't meet our expectations. The layout was a little awkward in that the concierge / reception was on Level 1 not the ground as you walked in the hotel. The bar in the hotel was excessively expensive, with... More

Just back for a 2 night stay, the hotel location is great, just a few steps from everything! The hotel is really cool, nice property with a trendy bar and hip rooms, however the rooms are a bit worn out, I found the bathroom and shower not very comfortable. All in all quite good!

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
