They sell themselves as 5 star luxury hotel etc and I think it's far from this. Basics like only 1 plug socket by 1 side of the bed, no kettle anywhere in the room. The mini bar is fully stocked and for this reason I feel sorry for the foreign tourists that perhaps don't understand the English £. As the... More

Nice stay in this hotel, It was our first stay in this hotel, we wanted to try a modern 5stars. The room was not very big but decent size for the city. Very well located near all the interesting places, nice style, modern. All the staff is friendly and available. The bar and the lounge are superb with a nice... More

I have stayed here a couple of times on business due mainly to the hotels location and also I am an SPG Platinum member and it is most probably one of the better Starwood Properties in London. The rooms are clean tidy but small, the food and beverage concept is excellent and I would recommend them. The lighting in the... More

How is it possible to stay in that hotel? As a SPG lifetime gold member, I'm always happy to stop in a starwood property to get a drink, even if i'm not staying in that particular hotel. We came here with friends to get a drink at the bar late in the evening. Security officers are rude, people here are... More

Great position, breakfast and staff. Room too small and stretches the word compact to its limits. I was sharing with my sister and as much as we are close there was very little privacy when the toilet is in a cupboard a metre away! The sink in the middle of the room is impractical and unattractive, felt like the bed... More

Modern hotel located at the heart of Leicester Square close to Picadilly Circus. Ideally located for the main entertainment areas of China Town, Soho, Leicester Square and Covent Garden and Trafalgar Square. The modern design of the reception areas can feel a little clinical. The one design feature I did like were the fires encased in glass cases. The bedrooms... More

Stayed here a few weeks back and the hotel itself is lovely BUT can be very noisy at times. But you would expect that staying so centrally. What you don't expect is to get conned in to using a "car service" that costs more than a London black taxi. As we waited for our car to the airport, a taxi... More

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
