I have always loved the W brand of hotels. I love the ultra-urban styling, modern trimmings and just the electric energy of the whole thing. W London as with others fits the bill and you can expect the same energy staying here. The hotel is located at the center between Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square, right at the start of... Hi JuiHong, Thank you for your excellent review. I am thrilled that you enjoyed your W experience! Our location is indeed very central and right in the heart of Soho, China Town, Film and Theatre land. You will always find all the excitement right on your doorstep here and it seems like you really did. The rooms at W London... More

Won't stay here again! The room design doesn't allow for bathroom privacy; step from shower directly into bedroom naked. Desk is bar height, connected to sink where you brush your teeth; hard to work on computer when someone's using sink. 2 hr wait at checkin for room. Maids skipped room. Noisy, kept me awake until 3 am. Prostitutes and party... More

We stayed here for one night and were upgraded to a 'marvellous' corner room. However, it was 2 floors above the bar so we didn't get a good nights sleep at all with the music from the bar and from outside going on until past 4am. The room was nice enough but really not worth the money. You also have... More

This hotel is in a great location, you couldn't really be more central. However, it is a bit too funky for my liking and has a bit of a 'stuck up' feel to it. The staff were lovely and friendly, but from the minute you walk in it feels like you are in a nightclub. Loud pumping music, dark decor... More

This hotel is too modern for us. The hallways are so dark you can't hardly see someone standing in front of you. We had a small suite which was nice. Bathroom was extremely dark, couldn't put on any makeup in there! Super noisy location. We heard music outside on the square almost ever night until about 2 am. Our kids... More

Post recommendation, I booked a corner room in the W. Despite multiple requests for an early check in (I arrived around 9AM) I was told I had to wait until 3PM to get to the room. Fine... Left the luggage and went for a walk & food. When I was back around 2PM, I was told that the room I... More

Omg please do not stay here. Hotel is right in middle of L square and so noisy I could hear every person talking at 3am. The hotel is great for young people that want to party and never sleep. The hotel room itself is just odd. Bathroom is partly in middle of room. I had to push doors to find... More

Overall I liked the hotel. I wasn't particularly crazy about the floor layout of the the room. There is a big island that takes up a fair amount of space that is utilized as a table, work space and sink. The sink doesn't really work well with the other two. The location of the hotel is good if you are... More

Hotel has high occupancy rates due to its location . Just a stroll from Chinatown and lots of food choices nearby. Recommended for travelers visiting London looking for hotel with modern settings and there are lots of young people and executives staying in this hotel

Staying in Soho

Neighborhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighborhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
