I booked this hotel as a gift for my wife's birthday. Although the rate is a little pricey it is well worth the money although we didn't take advantage of all it had to offer. The rooms are very well decorated although a little dark. The bathroom as stand up shower, large bath and is done out in excellent decor.... More

2 nights in this hotel for a business trip, staff where pleasant and helpful even though checking in was very busy. Waiting staff were excellent. Room was nice and clean. Bar was typical London prices as was any food purchase. Crucially I would stay again and the location was perfect with fantastic views.

I booked this Hotel for my family based on reading the reviews. I was so disappointed to say the least. We paid £250p/n and stayed 2 nights this Bank Holiday. Positives: great location, modern and spacious lobby.nice pillows. Negatives: huge check-in queue, suitcases took over 2 hours to be located and brought to room (after constantly chasing). Room: dirty bar... More

A a rule, I don't like London hotels. They seem to be moulded into some dusty interpretation of what overseas visitors' preconceptions of the country would be based on 40-year-old stereotypes. So it was a great pleasure to walk into this place - clean, modern, airy and comfortable, yet with a view that very much reminds you where you are.... More

I hosted a group of 12 in the hotel. The rooms were clean, although the lack of real windows is not perfect (look into the hotel atrium), my room was 2 rooms from lifts and was noisy, breakfast good, Cant really fault it. The location is perfect. They do good government rates. Spa and swimming was closed so cat comment... More

Stayed in modern, neat studio room - enormous by London standards. Everything in tip-top shape! View of Big Ben spectacular. Easy quick walk to tube station. Staff very friendly and efficient. Bed, pillows and linen comfortable and slept like a baby although always frustrating not to have access to windows that open and fresh air. Luckily we only used room... More

Stayed for 4 nights of a London holiday tacked on to the end of a business trip to Manchester. Arrived in London mid-afternoon and arrived at the Park Plaza Westminster... More

Lovely room, great service on check in. This hotel is very modern and very close to all major attractions. A reasonably close walk to Trafalgar Square (about 15 minutes), under 5 mins to London Eye and about 20 mins to Buckingham Palace. If you don't want to walk 2 tube stations close as well (Waterloo and Westminster), we got to... More

Wow. This hotel is amazing. Upon arrival, we were greeted with fresh orange juice before we even made it to check in. Courteous staff, and up to the room facing London Eye. We chose to get the afternoon tea package and what a good choice this was. Tea overlooks Big Ben and Westminster Bridge and the service was first class.... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighborhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
