We enjoyed out stay at Oakley Hotel, mainly because we were able to stay in such a fabulous area - without the cost of a modern boutique hotel. It is definitely more of a Budget Hotel, as it is situated in an older, non-modernised building, but we enjoyed its old worldly charm and the great (free) breakfasts! From our personal... More

We have stayed here twice in the last 6 years, why? It is clean, very centrally located near transport and does not cost the earth. An excellent breakfast is included in the price and you can use the kitchen if you clean up after yourself. The rooms are a tad shabby in places with excentric renovations to a Victorian terrace... Early in May, my wife and I returned to the Oakley Hotel on Oakley St. for a 2 1/2 week stay, our 4th visit in 12 years. The Oakley offers unbeatable value and a great location in the heart of Chelsea. This upscale, desirable area of London has great shopping, restaurants and pubs on nearby King's Road. Chelsea is well... More

Staying at the Oakley was one of the highlights of my trip to London. My Europe holiday started and finished in London and both times I stayed at Oakley. Service was excellent and the staff treated me exceptionally well and assisted with friendly advice. I felt very safe walking to and from the hotel and there were all the local... More

I have stayed at Oakley Hotel many times over the last few years whilst in London and have enjoyed my time there. On my most recent stay I was advised they now have wi-fi which is fantastic. The rooms are really quiet as it's in a residential area. The breakfast they provide is traditional english style cooked breakfast and also... More

When we arrived late in the afternoon we were greeted by a cheerful Tasmanian girl and shown our room and given the keys. We were very happy with the room, warm and comfy with en-suite bathroom. The bed was super comfortable and we slept like logs all night. In the morning we had a lovely cooked to order English style... More

You get what you pay for!! £85 per night for London is reasonable I expect. But cleanliness costs nothing and should be a priority. The whole hotel is in need of a revamp. Good point breakfast was ok!
