I went to a different hostel everyday on my holiday, and this one was by far the best. Very cheap, free drinks, free breakfast, I don't even understand how it's possible, very nice and helpful people. Only negative thing is that nothing is really close, but you should just travel with the underground anyway.

Lovely little hostel. The staff made me feel welcome when I was a little nervous with this being the first time I've stayed in a hostel. Thought it was really good how you got free soft drinks at the bar and breakfast in the morning. The bed was a little uncomfy and the rooms could do with better ventilation but... More

Great hostel! The staff, facilities and atmosphere are great. They really do make travelling easy. The rooms are clean the bar downstairs has loads of power points with a mixture of travellers and locals.

My friend and I arrived at Travel Joy Hostel at 11.30pm. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. They helped us make a booking as we had some difficulties to do it; no phones, no wifi and no credit cards. I recommend Travel Joy Hostel to anyone who wants to visit London as this hostel, in my opinion, is the... More

Great location. Free WiFi, Breakfast (super complete), hot/soft drinks & free walking tour. You have a fridge and microwave to use any time you need. But the best thing about this hostel is it's staff. Everyone were amazing, nice and friendly. Great stay, I'm thinking of going back to London and I definitely will stay here again (and I'll bring... Was in London on a short stay which was plagued with bad luck (nothing to do with the nice Londoners though!) but the one good thing was staying at Travel Joy Hostel. Cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful staff (Ric and the crew). VERY good value for money, clean throughout, free brekkie, 24 hour drinks, activities in their... More

I have been to many hostels in and around Europe, the staff here can obviously smile more and serve better. The highlight of staying here (apart from the view of the Thames) is its massive, free and delicious breakfast. I had my fresh customized omelet every morning of my stay. Connection wise the bus stop is right next to the... More

Stayed 6 nights in a four-bed en suite. The free breakfasts were delicious, the 24 bus outside was really convenient, and the staff I talked to were very friendly and helpful. Didn't really hang out there too much except to sleep, but I still got to meet a few people from many different countries. This was my first time staying... More

My friend and I checked in late on a Sunday night, but the Italian guy working the desk was super nice and helped us order food and gave us all the details. The best part of this hostel is the staff and the breakfast. They custom make you omelettes, pancakes, and smoothies. Their dinner menu (thai food) is also very... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
