This hostel is located a convenient distance from main attractions, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the facilities were clean. That being said I would urge those considering a visit to spend the few extra quid for your own room - with 12 people sharing a small room (and coming and going at all hours) it is difficult... Up to now, I didn't even stayed in a hostel, even in the college times. However, London is to expensive to stay even in a B&B, so I thought it worth a try and chose the best hostel in London according to Booking. It was not horrible but it was ok even for me who didn't ever stayed in a... More

At £10 a night this place represents amazing value for money and my compliments to the young staff for running such a slick, friendly operation....From the quality of bed linen, cleanliness, security etc there is nothing here I would criticise after 3 days and I left a very happy camper...I never used a bus/tube once because I could walk everywhere passing so... I stayed two nights here. Nice atmosphere, breakfast was awesome. Facilities are not bad - bed + bathroom is a bit cramped but clean. Location was not too far from city center and neighbourhood feels safe.

I have stayed a night at this hostel and loved the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff. I definitely will go back again. I like the idea of live music in the pub downstairs, it is a great place to meet new people.

As for as hostels go, this place was ok. When we first arrived we had 3 staff members storm in and out of are room with no explanation 2 minutes after us arriving there. I went down stairs to confront them about this and the self attempted overly charming guy behind the bar said that they were there to check... More

I have just spent 5 nights at this Hostel. The staff here are so helpful and bent over backwards to assist in anyway possible. The hostel is situated an easy distance from many activities and locations in central London. The #24 bus just outside the door can take you past many iconic landmarks of a great city. Facilities at the... More

Well, it's close to being perfect for a 3 day trip to London. For starters, it's located in the heart of London (10 minute walk from Victoria Station) and you can take bus 24 to stop directly at the door steep of the hostel. Besides that, the staff are really friendly, they showed me a bunch of interesting places and... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
