I was impressed by the cheerfulness and warmth of the environment. All looked very safe with plenty of lockers, doors that can only be opened with an electronic card and close automatically behind you. THe staff looks like they are volunteering rather than working, for the passion the have in fulfilling your needs and requests. I thought they may be... More

Wow, this was a great hostel! When I entered, I was given all the information needed to get started in London. They told me Big Ben was down the road, so I immediately did that! The breakfast was great too because they make you omelettes and pancakes on top of the given cereal, fruit, toast, and coffee. I later figured... More

A great place on a seemingly more quiet side of town right across from the Thames River. The bar and restaurant service was excellent, as well as the offer of free soda drinks. The breakfast was wonderful. I stayed in a mixed dorm, which of course was uncomfortable at first but there was no issue. Most of the time the... More

It was my first stay in a hostel and I enjoyed a lot. Staff was very friendly!I stayed in a room of 8 but all were very quiet. Very good free wi.fi, good breakfast and a good range of free drinks included during the stay. Very good for hostel!

I stayed with my two teenagers (one male, one female) for 5 nights. We stayed in a group room which slept a total of 8. The complimentary breakfasts were tasty and well sufficient to start the day. There were a -bunch- of maps and travel fliers available, in case you're not sure what you want to do that day. The... More

This hostel is one of the best I have ever stayed at. It is right on River Thames and the bus stop directly in front of the hostel is 24 hours a day and runs right into the city center. It's only a 5 minute walk away from the tube. The staff are all wonderful and full of life! I... More

Being new to London and arriving in such a nice friendly hostel was awesome! the staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful. From helping with my luggage to giving me tips on things to do everyday, it was nice to wake up to such a nice bunch of people. The common room downstairs is great, everyone is super social. The... I stayed here for 3 nights and I have to say it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in, if not the best! The staff are super friendly and helpful, they really make sure you feel at home. A nice relaxed atmosphere, great location with access to the underground so you can reach central London in under 30 minutes!... More

- Great service: with the drinks, help to the room, explaining the area, - The breakfast is absolutely amazing: smoothies, pancakes, eggs, toast, orange juice. - Lovely people working there - Free towels and clean linnen, however the beds are a bit hard (but you're not coming to London to sleep all day!) - The bus is 24 hours available,... Having stayed in this accommodation on my two last trips to London (in 2014); I am almost afraid to recommend this place in case it becomes too popular and I cannot get a room next time. As long as you don't mind sharing a dorm, you get tremendous value. For £27 a night, I got free 24 hour wifi, free... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighborhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighborhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
