Easy connections to Gatwick and to London City combined with at fair price makes this guest house in Battersea worth a visit. We were there for the weekend. If we should have stayed for a longer period I would prefer a hotel. The room was quite all right - we had the biggest one (90 £/night) with private shower and... More

What a find! Mr Houss is most welcoming. The rooms are spotless. Mine, with twin beds, had washing facilities and its own loo. Double glazing ensured a peaceful night's rest. The breakfast was more than adequate and very good: the waitress cheerful and efficient. As a "mature lady" travelling alone this time, I felt very safe in this friendly environment.... More

I have stayed here on numerous occassions regularly for business, and I could not fault anything. The owner is fully attentive and ensures you have all needs catered for. The place is spotless, and there is a lovely little garden with conservatory which you can have a meal in if you dont want to go out. Everything very comfortable. Easy... More

My husband and I stayed 6 days and nights here while visiting London. The owner and his son were most welcoming and made our stay wonderful. The room was very comfortable, the breakfast though simple, was delicious and the perfect start to our day. The breakfast cooks and servers were very friendly and accommodating. It was also located near our... More

stayed for two nights in this delightful little spot. My room was single ensuite which, although small, was spotlessly clean with good quality fixtures and fittings including tv. Apparantly undergone recent refurb so lovely little cosy room to come home to. All the delights of northcote road for restaurants, bar etc are a two minute walk away and delightful piano... More

We stayed in Room 2, a double bed with toilet and sink. The shower was located one stair above. Free wifi, very friendly staff. Only complain is the bed wasn't the most comfortable. The breakfast was plain: cereals, eggs, baked beans and toast. The BB isn't near the tube, you have to connect via national rail train to reach Victoria or... More

We were very happy with our stay here. The hosts were exceptional and very accommodating. They answered all our questions, called taxis for us and gave us directions for around town. They even accomodated us when we arrived two hours before the check in time. Rooms are very clean and the breakfast was decent. They make you feel like you... More

I had a great stay at The Lavender Guest House. The owner and his staff were wonderful hosts, and I'd definitely stay there again. The main tourist areas of London were easily accessible via Clapham Junction or by bus, and the Battersea area itself had lots of access to shops and art centres. In addition, having never been to London... More
