I arrived at the apartment complex on a very cold January evening. The heat was not working in my room -- but the exceptionally pleasant young woman at the reception desk gave me two heaters to lift the chill. The following day, the heat was back to normal. I was really heartened by the same young woman's continuing attention to... More

When they were Think London they were impressive. Intelligent, took reservations properly, had the rooms working and up to date. Booked a member of staff in here for a month and they wouldn't even discount properly. They need to look at how good Think London were and then try to catch up.

We stayed here new years Eve and a couple more nights. Nice clean modern apartment which was comfortable and well equipped. Had everything you needed. Dishwasher, washing machine dryer with soaps and tablets provided. Just missing a microwave but not to important. The location is very good as the street it's on is not busy with traffic. 10min walk from... More

We were in the hotel just for a night during a 2 day trip to London. I found this as a very suitable accommodation in London where we spent a night between busy days, when we were attending a variety of exhibitions and concerts just before the New Year. The room was literally a one bedroom flat on the top... More

The room is decently furnished and well equipped with all appliances, cooking equipment etc. but a bit small. Shower pressure is bad, but bathrooms are modern and nice. The furniture in my room was quite torn and some cabinets were in terrible condition or broken. The location is okay, but the area itself is quite dull, however, it's just a... More

We arrived at the hotel to find that our booking wasn't even on the system (also told this wasn't the first time that day). We were initially told they were fully booked, then after a 35 minute wait we were told we could have an upgraded family room (there were 2 of us). Although we had to wait a while... More

I just returned from a 2 night stay at this location. For the price and location I had a wonderful experience. First things first, this is a serviced apartment not a hotel. So no, you're not getting daily housekeeping etc. However the service staff was excellent and attentive. As for location, yes the building is in a more residential area... More

Go Native is an apartment with small kitchenette. For London price is ok, but the place is quite small. You really have to like each other because the only place to relax is the small bed. Slept well after shutting down the heating, it was like a sauna when we arrived. Best thing of this place is the really awesome... More

I stayed in a triple with friends, in this structure. The room was spacious and clean, the staff friendly and helpful. the hotel is in a good location close to the metro and in the center, the hotel is a bit old and should be renovated. However, the assessment is positive.

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
