We had an amazing stay at the apartment, much larger than all of the places we stayed in Europe with all working facilities. There was a fully functioning kitchen and our TV worked fine. The only thing that we was annoying was that the AC gave out but the receptionist came up and fixed it for us and was very... More

We stayed 2 nights and got a decent price considering it was a bank holiday weekend. The room has everything you'd need and all appereared fairly new, with the bathroom especially nice. Agree with previous comments about the room being hot - if it had not been for some classic British bank holiday weather this would have been more of... More

I booked this hotel in April 2015 for a stay from the 6th to the 13 th of July . On my arrival I was told there was no room for us ! I asked to see the manager who gave me an option of a hotel many miles away on the other side of London . After a very... More

I booked the London bridge apartments a month before the arrival date as this was for my Birthday. There were numerous factors that made our stay much less enjoyable than it should have been and I was extremely disappointed in our overall experience. • I received an email of Arrival Notification the week of arrival. In this email it welcomed... More

We stayed for five nights in a one bedroom apartment on the top floor. The room furnishings had signs of wear and tear but it was all clean and tidy. The kitchen was well equipped and everything in the apartment worked. We liked the location as it was away from the main tourist areas and also not too far from... More

Good location and amenities, away from the tourist strip. Good view from balcony on level 5 in one bedroom apartment but don't think lower levels had access to this. Close to Borough markets and Thames. Staff were ok, not excellent. No A/C which didn't affect us. Kitchen had everything needed including dishwasher, combined washer/dryer

Upon arrival I was met with rude and abrupt staff members. This continued throughout all of the stay. The room itself was extremely clean and equipt awithall amenities including cooking utensils, washing machine, towels and shower essentials. It was a open plan appartment so no door on the bedroom which would have been nice. The appartment was also extremely hot,... More

The day after we checked in to the hotel, we had a tour of London. When we came back, our room door was open, my mom's shoe was holding it between the door and the wall. We called the front desk and they said no one came in to the room. Me and my parents were sure we closed the... More

Considering the general quality level of London hotels, and their prices, this was a good choice. We stayed with 2 children (6 and 9). There was two "bed areas", and two bathrooms as well, in the condo we had reserved. The oven/microwave combination was very complicated to use, and the instruction was not any useful, so we did not know... More

As some have stated even in agoda, this hotel will just decide as and when they want to transfer you to a sister hotel. I had an email a day before my check in saying that they cannot honor my booking and transfer me to a sister hotel. The location of the sister hotel is not convenient for me. They... More

Staying in Southwark

Neighborhood Profile
Southwark
Even before the arrival of the instantly iconic Shard, the riverside scene in Southwark had moved well beyond any up-and-coming phase of development. For quite some time, locals and out-of-towners alike have loved browsing the boutiques of Bermondsey High Street, foraging through the bounteous stalls at centuries old foodie haven Borough Market, and flocking to the banks of the Thames to enjoy some of Britain's biggest attractions such as Tate Modern and Shakespeare's Globe. Despite Southwark's many popular draws, instant calm can be achieved easily by turning down almost any side street. For more urban buzz, a quick stroll across famed bridges like the pedestrianized Millennium Bridge or the ever photogenic Tower Bridge yields access to the very core of Central London. And with London Bridge Station as this neighborhood's main transportation hub, getting across town (or to anywhere in England for that matter) is a relative breeze.
