Lovely design hotel in a building that had once housed a printing press, conveniently located in creative and youthful Shoreditch (various buses and overground just around the corner). The rooms are surprisingly large and each one reflects the style of different designers. Our room (British) was very tastefully furnished and there were a lot of delightful details that we took... I loved this little hotel. Cosy, comfortable, luxurious, private. The rooms are gorgeous and homely. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Aesop toiletries. Rooftop terrace bar is a little hidden London gem. Perfectly located in Shoreditch but just off the main high streets so a bit away from the hustle and bustle. A pastry or cake left in your... More

Beautiful boutique hotel and rooms complete with aesop products in one of the more impressive bathrooms I've had in a hotel. Fresh baked goods met us every day, the mini bar was amply stocked, the restaurant next door is fantastic and the hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating. Located in the heart of shoreditch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone... More

We had a fantastic stay at the Boundary. It's a lovely hotel with surprisingly spacious rooms and such lovely details. Each room has a different design, inspired by a designer or a design movement. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back! :-)

Back again to the Boundary. I feel like home now. I’m still trying all the rooms as they are all different. Stayed in the n° 26, a corner room, very spacious with 6 double windows seeing on the Redchurch street and the Boundary street. I also discovered that the Hostem shop 20 meters away is offering a 20% discount to... More

We stayed at the Boundary for one night, a literal last-minute booking. We stayed in the British room. It was very large, stylish and had the most comfortable hotel bed we've ever slept in. For that reason alone the expensive room rate is justified! The bathroom was also really good - a large shower, heated floor, Aesop toiletries and a... More

The best hotel I stayed in London so far. Great location super friendly & helpful stuff, great restaurants. The romm was very well designed, big and very pleasant. The shepered pie in the coffe shop is one of the best one I ever eaten.

Highly recommend this boutique hotel. Lots of character, excellent amenities, amazing bed, shower, Aesop amenities. Great French restaurant. Lots happening around hotel, it was a little bit noisy one night - people partying outside until early morning but not loud enough to keep awake. Reception area a bit pokey. Other then that, really great.

We stayed in the Shaker room for 3 nights. Lovely large corner room with huge windows, making it bright and a great vantage point for people watching. Bathroom and shower excellent - nice amenities from Aesop, underfloor heating, slippers, robes etc. The bed was large and comfy, with lots of sinkable pillows. Wonderful collection of reading materials. Beautiful dressing table,... More

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
