This is a hotel where a great deal of attention has been paid to the small details. There is a truly fantastic sense of style, and everything is at a high standard. The rooftop bar is a fantastic option. There are lots of good options in terms of food and drink in the neighbourhood. It isn't particularly central, and the... More

I stay there for only one night (saturday night) on a trip to the East End - which i'm not especially familiar with. I had a great time ! The employee at the front desk was very nice, professional and helpful. We had a lovely room (room number 31) each rooms are specially designed by artist, architect and so on... More

My husband & I both really liked this hotel. We had an Andree Putman room - good size, good decor, lots of natural light. No complaints. I loved the nightly delivery of cake with the turn down service - beer was also a nice touch but as I don't drink beer this was wasted on me!! Breakfast was ok in... More

This is the only Conran hotel and it lives up to all that stands for. Great design, amazing staff and relaxing but superb attention to detail. It's the little things that make the difference here. Oysters and champagne on an unhurried roof terrace is sublime and blankets to warm you in a cool breeze. The rooms are large, beautifully designed... More

Stayed here for the weekend (may9) anf had a wonderful stay for my partners birthday. Reception staff were helpful without being intrusive. Stayed in conran suite which definitely had the wow factor, plus everything practical that we needed. Had a wonderful weekend here, and would definitely visit again!

Great design, pleasant room, excellent food, friendly stuff and the coolest location. I enjoy my second visit even more than my first. The scramble egg with the salmon is yummy and the tea is great, you can buy the tea brand in the shop, they sell all the tea brands they serve.

If you're a fan of Terence Conran then you'll love this place. The rooms are well laid out, spacious, well thought through. The location is great and if you've got friends staying in shoreditch house or the ace, but are looking for some privacy and quiet this is the place to stay. A massive plus is that you sit above... Lovely design hotel in a building that had once housed a printing press, conveniently located in creative and youthful Shoreditch (various buses and overground just around the corner). The rooms are surprisingly large and each one reflects the style of different designers. Our room (British) was very tastefully furnished and there were a lot of delightful details that we took... I loved this little hotel. Cosy, comfortable, luxurious, private. The rooms are gorgeous and homely. Loved the underfloor heating in the bathroom. Aesop toiletries. Rooftop terrace bar is a little hidden London gem. Perfectly located in Shoreditch but just off the main high streets so a bit away from the hustle and bustle. A pastry or cake left in your... More

Beautiful boutique hotel and rooms complete with aesop products in one of the more impressive bathrooms I've had in a hotel. Fresh baked goods met us every day, the mini bar was amply stocked, the restaurant next door is fantastic and the hotel staff were exceptionally accommodating. Located in the heart of shoreditch. I would recommend this hotel to anyone... More

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighborhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighborhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbor can result in fascinating outcomes.
