I had done quite a bit of travelling & visiting before I arrived. Was expecting run of the mill b&b,but as soon as I saw the excellent facilities I felt very lucky! Andrew & his partner were perfect hosts, breakfast was excellent & eating at the same table as other guests was a nice touch. The whole experience finished off my... More

very traditional British house, rooms where fine, location isn't the best. 10 minutes walk to each tube station, not a lot places to eat nearby. it was a bit confusing to locate and breakfast was in a near by building. in short - lots of walking

Needed a place to stay in Wimbledon for three nights,it was close to all the shops and railway station so suited us perfectly..The breakfast was excellent each morning, only nuisance was we had to walk up to the next street for breakfast as they have 2 different guesthouses and we were in the one which doesn't serve the breakfast but otherwise... This is a great solution for staying in the heart of London, walking distance from the British museum, Soho and Chinatown to name a few. The price is reasonable and the apartments clean, simple but well equipped. A good alternative to hotels. he area is cosy with restaurants and small elegant shops.

Booked this guesthouse blind on the internet for my elderly aunt, cousin and her husband. They were delighted. Their rooms were spotless and charming. They particularly enjoyed the breakfast seated at one table with other guests.

I describe this as "Different" in that I haven't stayed anywhere where you get to eat breakfast round a large dining table with other guests or share a bathroom (and that was only because all en suite rooms were fully booked, so it wasn't a problem) Andy the proprietor was very friendly and welcoming and offered us some useful information... Friends have used this guest house for many years and I can see why! Been staying here myself now for a number of years during Wimbledon and it's faultless.... Very friendly hosts always make you feel so welcome and met some lovely interesting people over breakfast, exchanging information about the tournament, village etc. I've stayed mainly in the Dundonald house... We were lucky enough to get tickets again for Wimbledon tennis so booked here once more having had a comfortable stay last year. Actually had same room again in William road house. No problems with stay. Breakfast at Goodenough Road which is only a couple of streets away. All rooms in B&B booked due to tennis so shared breakfast table... More

We stayed here two nights and it must be made clear that it is actually several normal terrace houses which the rooms are rented but breakfast etc is served from a house in Goodenough St. We were three streets away which is fine when the weather is fine but not much fun in the rain. There is also only 6... More

Did not look like pictures on web. Cleanliness not a priority to them as it has huge potential. Communal kitchen revolting and it Smelt of stale smoke. Disappointed there were no child facilities not even a high chair. Last morning of our stay owners went on holiday (apparently) and left the housekeeper in charge although friend they could not speak... More
