Simply lovely. Brilliant hospitality and beautiful rooms. Situated above a pub, right opposite clissold park. Great breakfast.lovely my scrambled eggs and spinach. Staff really helpful. Thanks jola.rooms are finished to a high standard. Can be a bit noisy if you stay in suite, but we weren't disturbed.

This is a unique experience these days in London: a charming, offbeat respite from the bustling city, a delicious & plentiful breakfast to start your day, and a spotlessly clean and genuinely welcoming environment. Highest recommendation. (There is also a lively but friendly pub downstairs.)

This is a long overdue review, as we stayed there for five nights in October 2012, but the original review was not posted due to a technicality. What made this place so good? First, we were dropped off by a cab outside the door a bit before noon on a drizzling day, and found the door locked. Not an auspicious... More

Stayed here this weekend for my sisters wedding. The staff were nothing but friendly and helpful from start to finish, really making a point to get to know us all. The rooms were excellently designed clean and very comfy with all the necessities you need from a room. I stayed in the superior double, which was large and very nice.... More

We stayed for three nights over New Years in a very comfortable room which was well laid out & had everything we needed including tea making facilities.Bathroom was spacious with a great shower and lovely fluffy towels which were changed every day. Jola is a great hostess who goes out of her way to make you feel at home. Breakfast... More

The venue were fantastic, we stayed there the day before my wedding and for a couple of nights after. The venue could not have been more helpful from the amazing breakfast to having the amazing knack of being there just when you need them. I would happily recommend to anyone, it is great value and a beautiful place.

Stayed for one night at short notice but wished that I could have stayed longer. Amazing rooms, beautifully and cleverly designed with the little added extras that made my stay so great. In the evening I ate downstairs in the bar, nice and laid back atmosphere frequented by local 'Stokey' residents. I was on my own which sometimes as woman... More

We had the deluxe room and it was really spacious and nicely decorated. The bathroom with its large bathtub is also gorgeous. The breakfast is very tasty (many variations of egg meals), Jola and Tomec are kind people. I would stay there again!

I booked this for a friend who was visiting from Australia due to its close proximity to me in Canonbury. I called to book less than 24hrs before he arrived and Jola was extremely helpful from the word go. For the three nights we wanted, they had a single room available for the first two and the suite available for... More
