We stayed here for one night on a freezing cold December night. The room was icy at first, but once the heating kicked in it warmed up very nicely and stayed warm right through the night. Charlie's has a good location and within easy reach of Tufnell Park tube. The staff are very friendly and the room, bed, sheets, towels were great. The down side was the shower head!! There was some damp/gung on it, attatched to the wall too so I couldn't get it down and clean it. Breakfast was alright but there were not... More

Very nice and helpfull staf. The rooms colud have better standard but you get what pay for.And we had not in mind to stay att the hotel all day so we thought it was okey.

Greeted at the door by a 90+ year old man, who looked like he hadn't changed his clothes for 60 of them and growled at us. We have stayed in numerous hotels, B&Bs and hostels all over the world from 1* to 5* but this was poor. Only stayed for 1 night during olympics with a very late check in and were allocated a basement room. The room absolutely stank.... being on the ground floor with the windows left open all day (to remove the smell???)... More

Mould in the shower. see through curtains a smell that could only be described as death. Greasy cold breakfast and not enough places for us to sit together. Awful
