Upon arriving at this hotel one look at the entrance was enough to start the alarm bells ringing . It was filthy washing and bed sheets were thrown outside on the ground at basement level clearly visible to guests !!! The reception was like stepping inside an under stairs cupboard where a mattress stroke seating area was set up .... More

My friend and I booked this hotel through booking.com. Alarm bells started to ring when we approached the dirty entrance. Man in reception was friendly enough but inside of hotel was smelly and filthy. We went up to the second floor room which had a double bed pushed up against the window and barely enough room to move next to... More

I only stayed here for one night, thank goodness for that. This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. I was afraid to fall asleep, because anyone can get into the room, with the type of locks they have. We had a room with a toilet, but the light was not working. Couldn't wait to get out of... More

So terrible we only stayed in the building for 10 minutes. The first warning was a guy hanging out one of the windows having a can of beer and a cig! Bizarre set up for check in where you are asked to sit on a bed whilst signing registration details. The "employee" (if you can call him that) was on... More

Like the saying goes...You get what you pay for, so I'm guessing in London... £79 room only gets you the lowest end of the market... but still, even this was way over priced.. read on ! I was taken in by the professional looking photos, but don't be fooled... Check in was professional and smooth, but sadly that's where all... More

I stayed here for three nights and I've got to say they were the worst three nights ever. The room was tiny and dirty, the shared shower was a disgrace with limescale everywhere. The shared toilet had holes in the wall and everywhere needed a good cleaning. The room wasn't cleaned, bin wasn't emptied or beds weren't made for three days.... More

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
