The hotel was refurbished, however I believe not all rooms or corridors. The room my friend and I stayed in, was kind of refurbished with new furniture but a tiny room. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. We were lucky to have an ensuite room, but the bathroom unfortunatley was not clean. We did not complain or... More

the host was agressive and shouted at us due to late arrival because our flight was delayed. the room was filthy and smelled like a sewer, they had clearly made an efford to reduce the smell cause the room was cold and the windows were wide open. the "bathroom" was a box buildt into the room. and there was no... We booked this hotel for a school reunion as we were going out in the West End. We had three twin rooms, they didn't resemble the rooms on their website. Our room was extremely basic and I could touch either wall standing in the middle of the room! Once in bed the floor sloped and felt like I was rolling... More

It's a good thing we were only staying here as a cheap last minute booking and were heavily drunk when returning to this hostel (Definately not a hotel as marketed) feel like we were cheated out of our money as the pictures are not only misleading but the room we booked was tiny, had no bathroom and was absolutely filthy... I wish I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor before booking. The photos of the hotel on the booking.com site are fake as are two of the excellent and good reviews on Trip Advisor. This is easily the worst hotel I have ever stayed at, it was dirty, moldy, noisy, unsafe and unsanitary. I was in Room 5, between... More

Excellent place for a business conference- high quality rooms, great food and decent business venues. Nice and spacious both inside and outside which is great for break out activities. Good sports and spa facilities and helpful staff. Overall, would recommend as an alternative venue out in the country side. #goodthinkingtime

I stayed here in August 2012 for two days, my room had no bath\shower or toilet so I used shared ones. They were really terrible. The room itself was simple small but tidy, worth its price. The guy from staff was helpful, location is fine, and you can easily get to most places. Being clean freak, I would not stay... More

Convenient for when we needed it. Beautiful to look at and great gym and leisure facilities. The room was nothing special especially given the price. The restaurant was good with great service and good food. Fire alarm went off during the night. Only one member of staff was visible, but no communication which was very poor. No mention of it... Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighborhood Profile
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
